I am sorry... do you want my pity each time I recognize a man's height with respect to the value people give that man.

Women are biologically programmed to seek out the most suitable mate to protect them. It comes from cave man days where she sought protection for her and her offspring from sabertooth tiger and roaming tribesmen. The bigger and stronger he was the better.
That pea brain of hers hasn't kept up with the times - she still seeks a big and strong man. Just check out the dating profiles - "Must be over six foot tall". And "I'm not going to settle so don't waste my time." LOL

A short guy just needs to focus on women shorter than he. My dad was only 5-8, and mom was 5-2. They seem short by today's standards.

The only guys that complain about this are the ones under about 5-8. But just look how many there are! And there are plenty of women that want what you got - whatever that is. You just have be awesome! A big fat wallet goes a LONG way!

That’s interesting, from my experience it’s the taller women who tend to show interest towards shorter guys. Many shorter women tend to prefer taller guys.

Well, that's just because the taller ones are WAY more limited in options. ;)
And they're stronger mentally, so the biological drivers are more diminished.
Short people feel inadequate, so it's a bigger deal for them. It really just doesn't come into play for the vast majority of normal height people.

Don't you ever insult me like this, I'm very much into the damage horrible stupid Heightism causes. I'm a living example that such a thing as women prefer taller guys is a bunch of shit, my entire family is very tall indeed , and the women out family nearly all of us are attracted to men shorter than us, l wouldn't say necessarily short but definitely shorter than us women. And must say it's really hard to believe the , evolution lie that women in general find taller guys more attractive. One single thing could be the case, that's the simple fact that guys are taller than women in generel, so ofcause there isn't a shorter guy for every women. But to make us women so stupid that we rate men after there size would be pretty offensive. Perhaps some do and just as many don't , and let's face it if every seventh or eight women would prefer there guy shorter things as up fine. And I think that's were about we as society are today. So really problems isn't that big a thing anymore, but it doesn't give somebody the right to try to stigmatized people shorter or taller as freaks

Just presice , many of my fellow tall teammates do date or are married to men shorter themselves. Well to be fair there men aren't what will be defined as literally short including my hubby, but definitely shorter than us self, so when my hubby is 181 cm or 5'11,5 it will be rude to define him as a short guy, just do I find him a kind of short , as I'm 294 cm or 6'8 myself, and it's the same with my talk teammates there guys are everything between 175-185 cm tall, but as the girls are at least 190 cm plus , you get that they think of there guys as shorter at least, but I'd been dating the most wonderful guy when I were 18 years old for 2,5 year's her were literally very short 150-152 cm, but my best boyfriend ever, and height weren't a deal-breaker at all, unfortunately he cheated on me, with a girl also very tall, and we are best friends all of us 25 years after

Preferences and discrimination are two different things. I don’t care if a woman has preferences for tall men but when the media erroneously claims that taller is better. People need to speak out.

@ADFSDF1996 Well yeah, the media does claim taller is better (and other BS-things). But shorter men ~5'5-8" still date. I don't really know how much the "height preference" norm is common in practice with those who are dating or the amount of impact it does have in the dating world for guys.

He already answered that point: "Preferences and discrimination are two different things." I don't agree with what OP was saying for a reason kind of similar to what you're getting at, but you are using a Straw Man argument.

Now, I will say (as a man who is 5'3") taller IS better (taller men make more on average, have higher IQ's, commit less crime, live longer and healthier lives and are generally more respected by their peers), but you believe the OP is calling you shallow because you have preferences. He isn't saying that, but I am and also that's okay! Everybody is shallow.

@SaintJonesy It’s actually been proven that shorter men live longer on average due to a longevity gene and historically, many short men have successfully lead powerful nations as well or had high ranks. Individuals such as Atilla the hun, Napoleon, Stalin and Kruschev. And military men like Audie Murphy and Daniel Inouye, were all short but accomplished impressive feats.

No, it's not, but for the third time, the bulk of his take was about discrimination, not dating preferences. He at one point hypothesized that dating preferences may be affected by the media's portrayal of short and tall men, but that's not really whining since he's identifying a problem, a solution and a path of action. Whining is just identifying a problem.

Lol this is hilarious. Your obviously short and trying to paint a dilusional rational. Height is attractive. It is what it is. If I stand next to a manlet it's clear who looks like a boy and who looks like a man. Being short will never be "in". there's just not much societal praise for being short and I don't see that changing. I like taller women cuz there more beautiful and you can clearly see it when they stand next to a shorty. Better proportions.

@TheRedLemon For every advantage tall people have, there’s also a advantage for short people. The point is that this kind of “ego stroking” given to tall people is based on a bunch of misconceptions, and of course there are also many disadvantages that tall people have as well, I only mentioned a few here. So no, being tall does not imply superiority over short people. There are plenty occasions where short people have outperformed tall people, I showed one above. Whether a person is tall or short, is no indication of superiority only difference.

@TheRedLemon You are the one that’s trying to erroneously claim tall men are somehow “superior” without any valid proof while also nitpicking and using appeal to pride. While I simply said short people have have pros and cons while tall people also have pros and cons. I never said that either tall or short people are superior or inferior. My main point is that height isn’t synonymous with several other abilities and I gave valid proof in the take/article which seemed to have shattered several fragile egos.

Considering that you also keep strawmanning and beating around the bush. It just shows you have no valid objections to my argument. Either properly address all my points in your replies or just stop replying.

@TheRedLemon “well i did because it seems logical to me.” No offense intended but this sounds like you are stroking your own ego

There is no logic in claiming someone is superior just because they are tall considering all the factors involved. People who claim they are superior just because they are tall tend to have overinflated egos. Again considering how there are pros and cons to being tall or short, is further proof of how height doesn’t determine superiority or inferiority. and I mentioned some of the many benefits of being short in this article/take.

The video example I showed on this article/take shows a short person defeating a much taller person in BJJ. Considering how this happens quite often, further indicates that height is irrelevant to prowess.

The article says that there are biases people have towards tall people. While the rest of the points are based on percentages and this can’t be objective truths.

While that article seems to be explaining the perks of being tall. Here is a article explaining the perks of being short www.telegraph.co.uk/.../...its-of-being-short.html

sorry to say but it's part of natural female nature, it will never be changed due to evolution and survival

Evolution says “survival of the fittest” it doesn’t say “survival of the tallest”. Preferences are subjective.

exactly survival of the fittest, women naturally desire protection for themselves when pregnant and their offspring... tall people give off this illusion regardless if they are strong or not. why do animals become tall, large, they stand up, their hair stands up in a way to make them look bigger... logic is your friend

And how do you explain those women that prefer short men? Correction, those animals make themselves look bulkier not taller.

A anomaly is not a animal, it’s something unusual shown by specific groups of people or objects.

Basically you are saying they are not normal people just because they deviate from the “standards”.

If that’s what you think of them, then you should tell those women that they are not normal. Who knew that it’s not normal for people to have preferences that aren’t common.

yes, I am making generalizations based off of observable behavior... it's not what women say, but how women act.
