Facebook Friends vs. Real Friends vs. Misc. Who do you trust?

Since the time of social media, you got two kinds of friends. Facebook Friends and Real Friends.

Now you got your facebook friends who you know. Drinking buddies, family, friends from high school, and people who you encountered over the years.

Then you got your Real Friends on Facebook (or as they seem real) co workers, other family members, your office mate, work wife / work husband, girlfriend, wife, mistress, sidepiece, etc

I know a guy from grade school. Did almost everything to fit in. Memorize Def Leppard Lyrics to do stupid things. Then he gets facebook. 5,000 Friends on his timeline

He Claims he knows them all

He has been to almost every single taping of a television show, and he claims he knows almost everyone on his facebook. He says he knows them all, but we know he dont know Drew Barrymore personally or Pauly Shore.

Then you got these people

Im sure we got these people. Coworkers or family members who have you on facebook, talk smack about you on facebook, and ignore you in real life....

Truth to this?

So Who do you trust? Me. I still haven't figured it out

Of course I trust my real friends the most. On Facebook I usually only accept friend requests from people I have some connection to in real life. Sometimes it's not a strong connection, but I at least have some real life connection to them. I don't accept friend requests from just random people.

I would still divide people into "real friends" and "Facebook only friends" that I will interact with on Facebook but am not likely to do much if anything with in person.
