We all have many friends but not everyone is "really" friends, some behavior shows your friend is really your friend, do you want to learn this?

Let's start...

1. They behave honestly to you always.

If a dress does not suit you or thinks that your lover does not love you, she tells you.

2. They criticize you when you do something wrong.

A real friend tells you your mistakes.

3. Even if you try not to let it show, he understands that you are sad.

I think friends are just people who care about you. It may sound sappy but friendships, just like opinions can vary from people to people. Some friendships, for reasons I don't understand (Especially the guy friendships I have been exposed to, like wtf guys?), the two friends relentlessly bully and harass each other. In other friendships, like mine, the two people try their best to make life as easy and happy for the other as possible. Some friendships are extremely obvious, and others can be hard to tell from a normal interaction. Some friends may constantly irritate each other and always fight and some friends will never fight. The only thing I have found in common between every friendship I have ever seen is that BOTH parties (This part is way more important than people let on.) genuinely care about the other, similar to how siblings care for each other. Close friends are basically just less frustrating siblings.

And the one that got the closest... sometimes I’m not sure if her jealousy is because she wants the smiles we provide to her by herself or because I’m suppose to hate her enemy even tho her enemy is my friend. So I’m supposedly not a true friend to any of them because I’m friends with both?

What about the people trying to figure out themselves and are insecure? They are afraid to be honest to people and do things selfishly sometimes. Will they ever have friends or be a friend?

as i get older, my friend circle has become much more temporary. Sure, i have one or two best friends who have been with me for awhile, but I have lost many great friends, but also gained many too.

I guess what I'm saying is that number 15 is a young person's vision of friendship. A real number 15 would be "They support your path and vision, even if it means watching you go."

Not everyone will lead a similar life as you. In fact most won't. Don't stress your friends out by being clingy. If their life is taking them away from you, support them through the transition and be there for them if they ever come back.

If true friendship is a plant, its a cactus. It can weather droughts.

ugh wish i had a friend like this. all the girls in my school are fake af and i consider them as more of people i hang out with than friends. not one can keep a secret and they never have my back when things get fucked up.
however, my boyfriend seems to fit in all the points given

Great Take, but I doubt #1. If a dress doesn't look great on my friend, I'm not going to tell her, thats just negative criticism that makes her feel bad about herself. Same if her makeup was too strong or hairstyle a certain way- it's damaging her more then helping.

Honestly, I don't know who my best friend is. Or is it that I don't have one?
I have a close friend at school but she has another friend that she's closer to. She is MY closest friend but I also have close friends from dance class and I know they have best friends too that are not me.
So does that mean I dont have a best friend?

Another thing is that they don't necessary support all the decisions you make. A good friend would wake you up and put some sense into you when you're about to make a bad decision, not support it. And also not take your side when you're wrong.

Real friends help each other out even at the risk of losing them. They don't alter their beliefs nor show favoritism. I shouldn't tell a friend one thing and a stranger something else. How I live before my friends should be similar to how I live my life before strangers. Otherwise, I'm a fake person.

Revenge is petty and more often than not just opens a can of worms.
