Communists behind the Berlin Wall On the other hand East Germany, according to West Germany, was full of communists. They suppressed their own people by putting up a wall. Many who tried to flee were shot. In the eyes of many West Germans East Germans led depressing lives, lived in depressing houses and wore depressing clothes.

In other words: the Berlin Wall was more than concrete, watchtowers, vicious border policemen, watchdogs, barbed wire and graffiti. It not only divided the city of Berlin, but also stressed to what part of the country you belonged and what you believed in.

So you want to prevent illegal immigration.. Build a wall. Okay. But what about the other people who are here, supposedly, illegally. Chinese, Indian, Iraqi. Or what about English, Irish, etc. But I forgot other ethnicity aren't terrorists.

The Irish volunteers were a paramilitary force formed in response to the loyalist group the LVF. The Irish volunteers in 1914 was split down the middle on whether or not to fight for the British at the start of ww1, half stayed and half went to fight.
The Irish citizen army was formed from the Irish Labour union after the disastrous end of the 1913 strike organised by Jim Larkin. James Connolly after he took control decided to form an organisation that would be able to fight back.
The Irish Republican Brotherhood & Fenians united with the Irish Volunteers and James Connolly' s citizen army to form the Irish Republican army on Easter Sunday 1916 in which members in Dublin seized government buildings in Dublin, overall it was a disaster as many other forces that were supposed to rebel were stood down Instead in a conflict of leadership.
No enlisted irish troops of the British army were discharged from service until 1918/19 or possibly later.

About part one of your take: The two major persons who made the fall of the wall happen were: Mikhail Gorbatschow, and Hans-Dietrich Genscher. But mainly, it is an achievement of the population of the ''DDR''. Your text/picture suggests that Reagan had a role there; he did, but it was a tiny one in the background.
