I am sure it differs across the Middle East. Lebanon and Turkey are from what I have heard much less strict than say Saudi Arabia or Iran however, according to a survey I read once, even in Iran 80% of women have had premarital sex.

Rape is rare here to my surprise, many have said it is high in the middle east but after a bit of research I didn't find it anywhere in the top places, and again to my surprise India isn't even in the top five highest rape rates!!
