All of what you wrote is largely irrelevant. Wars revolve around geopolitical issues, not local ones. "They have incredible wildlife" Ok, cool, surely that will stop them from being the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world, right? Oh, it didn't? Weird.
Let me ask you this, oh brilliant one
If you or a family member were killed by a terrorist from or sponsored by Iran, would you give a fuck that "Well, they have some major industries over there and also some interesting food"
Your entire article ignores the realities behind the conflict and dresses it up in typical fashion as if to excuse what's been going on over there for decades.
You sound like a Canadian with this level of justification for terrorism, and that's not a good look for anyone.

Wow! You missed the point of this post completely. I wasn't trying to say that the things you mentioned aren't true, I was trying to point out that there is another side.
Actually, no terror attack has ever been carried out by an Iranian against a US civilian.
Lol. You might wanna reread your terror attack sentence again. If I was killed in a terror attack, then I wouldn't be around to give a fuck!
Family member, I would direct my hatred mostly towards that particular country and terror group. Perhaps a little the GOVERNMENTS who sponsored them.

WOW WOW WOW! Wait a minute! Where in my article did I justify terrorism? You completely misinterpreted everything I wrote. I think you're just angry that I bashed Trump supporters. I'm a Conservative myself and I usually upvote your post on here, but fanatical Trump supporters like you drive me nuts. That you just blindly support everything he says and does and just blindly believe whatever Fox News tells you.
Why does it anger you so much to know that there are actually positive things and kind humanity in Iran? So you would prefer for Iranian people to infact hate us and kill us, just to prove what your beloved Trump says?
Trump isn't right 100% of the time.
I knew you had some strong conservative views, and you should know that I almost always upvote your posts, but I thought you'd be a little more open minded, especially to an article written by one of your fellow Conservatives.

I wasn't aware Iran was the #1 state sponsor of Terrorism in the world, seems like a regurgitated talking point. Im sure it was Saudi Arabia who were involved in the plot on the twin towers. Im sure it is Saudi Arabia seeking its expansion of Wahhabism and to do so needs to rival the only other threat in the region, Iran. Now who is the biggest supplier and beneficiary of the Saudis and not to mention U. A. E? America. Remember, if helping out the Saudis sponsor ISIL - another enemy of Iran - to destabilize the region can produce jobs and bring in millions of dollars to the Treasury than our President is all for it. Money over Morals just to be clear.

... It truly saddens me that Americans... - generalizing!
One thing that Americans (generally speaking) DO know, Trumpsters and the rest of us, is that there are too many Iranians and people from the Middle East who are jealous of the U. S. and deliberately take time out of their day to shout "DEATH TO AMERICA" (and they've been doing that since, at least, the 1970's!)

That was interesting, but what does any of this have to do with tensions? The tensions are between our governments, not our people, or at least that how it's supposed to be.

Yes, I read the prologue, I'm assuming that was from Twitter? I wouldn't take tweets seriously, it's a platform that exist exclusively so people can say stupid stuff to stir the pot and those people shouldn't have made it about the quality of the land itself or the people, but rather the government that supports terror that we want eradicated.

    Excellent take sir!!

Sadly, you certainly realize that those Trump supporters don't remotely care about facts like those.

They almost certainly think we are seen by the rest of the world as the good guys in this scenario.

Yeah, as I expected, they accused me of spreading Liberal propaganda.
One stupid soldier commented that he spent time in this part of the world and there is nothing wonderful about the people.
When I asked him if he's been to Iran he replied, "No, Iraq." That should be saying enough.

Even though I'm a Conservative, I'm not a fanatical Trump supporter. YES, he might have done some good things for the economy, but that doesn't change the fact that him and his supporters are extremely ignorant about the world. As much as I hate to admit it, Hillary Clinton was right when she said that a lot of Trump supporters are deplorables.

Iran is an islamic theocracy attempting to disguise itself as a democracy and it does not support Israel's right to exist; it never has. I'm not saying everyone there is evil, they aren't, but their government is. Of course, so is ours... but at least we aren't a theocracy

As well it should and that’s exactly my point in my above conversation with Zeus here.

I don’t give a rats ass about the ancient and culturally vibrant nation of Persia. Anyone who uses acts of aggression against my country and chants ā€œDeath to Americaā€ and openly admits to wanting to wipe Israel from the map... and then is given a nuclear deal by Obama... well I say to hell with education on Iran as I support turning their culturally vibrant and ancient country to dust.

Kidnap our sailors and seize our naval vessels, shoot down our drones and attack our embassies... because of economic sanctions applied to a country who threatened and says such things... who in the past sacked our embassy and took our people hostage... f*ck Iran. Turn it to a place of dust and ashes. I’m sick of these Islamic fundamentalist terrorist states and organizations running around and blowing up whatever and whoever in the name of Allah. We should been far less tolerant a long, long time ago. So turn culturally vibrant eye ran to ashes and rust since they can’t play nicely and want to preform acts of war against the mighty U. S.

Also no boots on the ground. Just continually conventionally bomb it until there’s literally nothing left anywhere? What about the civilians someone will say... too bad! Why should our people die and our debt rise to control a situation like this again? AGAIN? Give a warning for civilians to leave the country, the kill and destroy everything that remains.

@ZeussLightningBolt I'm aware all Iranians don't yell that. My point is that the way they are portrayed by the media gives the impression to the average American that all of them do. It just shows that the media can easily spin something to sway the masses regardless of whether it's true or false.

Ok... so not all of them say that... just like 85% of them... whatever.

Watch a video of the latest tyrant leader of Iran having to tell people ā€œwhen we say death to America... we don’t mean American citizens... just Trump and John Bolton... ectā€ That is not an exact quote but a paraphrase.

So it doesn’t matter the perception the media gives or what the average person Iran thinks... let alone the fact they have to be told that... what matters is what their leaders intend and want to do. What matters is: here the U. S. has to go again in fighting another radical Islamic terrorist state or organization that could potentially be another costly and endless war costing us billions of dollars and many lives. So let’s just blow it to pieces and save ourself the trouble. Let’s stop being nice and worrying about the civilians even... who have no problem chanting ā€œDeath to Americaā€... and let’s give the civilians like 24 hours warning to leave the country... then continually bomb every square inch of it and literally destroy everything and kill everything left and that can serve as a permanent reminder of what will happen to Islamic radical country’s... and that were not spending our lives and money to straighten out your turd of a courtly and make the world safe anymore... you want to make threats and carry out small attacks... fine... we’ll just turn your country to rust and ashes and piss on the remnants of it and go back to peacefully living our lives.

Let me also people just assume Iran should bend their ass over to the United States and give up Shia Islam, no. Understand Qom in Iran is one of the holiest cities in the world and that direction and knowledge will see the 12th imam return, followed by Jesus. Anyone who compares Iran to Nazi Germany are mentally retarded. America's government is far worse and they get away with genocide, murder and look at the regime there. Yet people want to demonize Islam... Okkk there.
