AIDS started in the US. By your logic that means the United States is responsible.
The Spanish Flu started in Kansas. By your logic that means the United states is responsible for the deaths of 50 million during that pandemic.
No because unlike china the us didn't try and cover those up, china didn't tell the world about this virus until it had already spread around the world, they didn't try to contain them.
Also aids started in Africa not the us.
The Chinese are no more responsible for this virus than the United States is responsible for AIDS or the Spanish Flu- which started in Kansas and killed 50 million world-wide.
Again aids started in Africa so of course the us isn't responsible for that 1.
Also the Spanish flu happened in 1918. In 1918 there was no infrastructure to deal with a highly contagious disease like we have today. No cdc, no who, hell we hadn't even realy gotten a good grasp on how diseases like the flu spread. Also in 1918 even if we did have those things information travel much much slower back then. Moat nations didn't even have access to a telegraph let alone a telephone it took news months to spread across the world.
China on the other hand had all the neccessary tools to stop this virus from spreading beyond thier own borders and chose no to do a damn thing about it. Further more they also chose not to disclose the danger to the rest of the world even going as far as saying there was no evidence of human to human transmission even after thousands of thier own people had died from it.
No, the United States doesn't get off that easily.
No excuses.
This new virus was novel and it took them time to understand what they had. Just as the United States had to understand what it had unleashed.
Funny you mention infrastructure for diseases and viruses. Did Trump fund or defund that infrastructure in 2018?
Trump defunded the World Health organization because they were helping spread China's lies. This I do not blame him for. You dont give funds to an organization that's failing to do it's job. And it's funny you are so willing to blame the us and trump for his response to this. But china where the virus originated from and who covered it up till it became a world wide problem gets a pass. Seems to me your just using the virus to say one more time that orange man bad.
And he defunded the CDC but whatever. Trump can do no wrong.
