BLM diverts attention from the real problems in the black community. Until blacks stop playing the victim and blaming everyone else for their problems, and start looking in the mirror and owning and addressing their real problems, which are largely cultural ones that only they can fix, they will never rise above their current situation. Blacks need to realize they are their own worst enemies and stop pointing fingers t everyone else. It does more harm than goo on multiple levels.

I have seen numerous liberals slut-shaming Melania and other conservative female public figures.
Liberals don't care about black people or women, just about using women and black people to get the vote. That's why you haven't heard nearly as much about BLM since the election.

I think that is a great question.
So my opinion is this.
Yeah there are negative results that have come from it based off of how some people from both sides

But there has been more communication from many people who didn't care or want 2 speak about it.
The attention is there and just like any major movement there is gonna be resistance

resistance makes sense, yeah, but I think this is more than that. I think the movement is actually spawning a new generation of racists on the opposing side. This is very bad. I think we need to stop dividing people up along race lines, and a movement named "one color of race matters" is not the solution, it's contributing to the same problem that is the root of racism in the modern world to begin with.

How about a movement titled "nobody has the right to abuse anybody else's rights" ? Now that is a movement I could get behind. And the main culprit is government and police, not rednecks with guns or whatever some people seem to think. I've also noticed that the movement demonizes black conservatives and only is really for black lives if they are leftist politically. I think it's really toxic. Maybe it started out as a good idea but it's become so toxic it needs to die.
