Among my people, we carry many such words as this from many lands, many worlds. Many are equally good and are as well respected.

But wherever we have gone, no words have said this thing of importance in quite this way.

Look at these three words written larger than the rest, with a special pride never written before or since; tall words proudly saying:

We The People

That which you call just a piece of paper, was not written for the chiefs of kings, or the warriors, or the rich, or the powerful -- but for all the people!

Down the centuries, we have slurred the meaning of the words:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

These words and the words that follow were not written only for you but for everyone as well!

They must apply to everyone, or they mean nothing! Do you understand?

Absolutely. That is the normal progression of language evolution. Like how iced cream eventually was mispronounced so many times it became ice cream. Our vernacular is always changing. New words being added, old words becoming seemingly obsolete. Miriam Webster has quite the job trying to keep up.

What we the people means is defined quite clearly there.

It's who ever sign up to the deal.

It's clearly not everyone. You have to sign in to the constitution, and in so, to constitutionality. You have to sign in to the "no initiation of violence" pact, as one example. You have to sign in to due process. The list is long.

Absolutely. Those who seek to divide us by race, sex, class or whatever seek nothing but power in reality. If you are an American citizen, you are American and nothing else and that's the only group we should identify by.

Yes, words have been changed in their meanings, the worst is the word "regulate" today means to restrict but when the 2nd Amendment was written, the word meant well trained and well equipped.
