There is toxic self confidence tho, like people who don't care how the interaction goes cause they don't respect the person or maybe even their whole gender. Assholes are confident cause they don't care how their actions affect you. Like cataloging construction workers, they're confident, it ruins your whole day or worst makes you feel uncomfortable in public but they've already forgot you and catcalled 3 more women, they were confident cause they don't respect you.
Confidence isn't everything, you need to know what makes a person confident, cause it can be toxic as fuck, coming from having complete disregard for others feeling and wellbeing, or even from depression or being in A bad place, prettyeasy to be "confident" when you're already at rock bottom...

I agree. You have to be someone for confidence to work. Can't be ugly or overweight for it to work. Most people will not give that person the time of day

Yeah right so how can you be confident in something you are not good at? You could have a skill you are good at it and of course you could use that and yes sometimes to help others. For example a nurse would be confident tin their job vs trying to fix a car.
