Feminists will often point out the less than 1% of men that are CEOs as proof of the patriarchy. While conventionally enough ignoring the vast majority of men that are doing the dangerous dirty jobs necessary to keep society moving.

I want real equality. Why aren't there more female ditch diggers? Everybody complains about the glass ceiling, but nobody talks about the glass basement. Nobody talks about the fact that 98% of loggers are men

You see people dying to keep society moving forward, you'll see men. Why isn't anybody complaining about equal representation?

92% of all workplace deaths are men and 95% of all military deaths are men. Meaning men are more likely to die building society and also more likely to die protecting that society. Nobody thinks it's a little odd that women only want the jobs with air conditioning and pizza parties. Women want equal representation in the cushy jobs that makes decisions for society.

But they don't want equal representation in the dangerous jobs that sustains society. That doesn't sound like equality to me.

But here's the catch: feminists want women to do all these male-dominated jobs, when most women themselves don't even want to do them. And that's the part that bothers feminists, who are misogynist and want to destroy what real femininity is by pushing for women to do what men do, in everything. It doesn't matter to me if a woman wants to do construction or be an air line pilot, but it also doesn't matter to me if she doesn't want that either.

As long as men run the infrastructure, we will always be in control of society. The blue collar men are the most important, because without them MANY men and women will die.

Next in line are the working class/middle class. I call them "9-to-5ers". These people are your teachers, accountants, engineers and most other jobs with varying work hours (I know they are not all 9 to 5, but they are not super rich). They are important because they control everyday operations and technology, and if they go on a strike, you will still live but your life will be extremely difficult, like the 1700s.

Finally, the billionaires. This can easily go both ways to either being the MOST important or LEAST, depending on what they offer. Rich people are rich because they come with ideas that are innovative and can change humanity. However, these people need someone to work for them and turn their idea into reality, they cannot do it all on their own. That's why I put them last, not because they're not important.

Now where do female workers lie in this scale? Either 2 or 3, but rarely ever 1. That's because they don't wanna do the difficult jobs. That gives us men leverage. If we control the infrastructure and we know it inside-out, then they will need us to navigate. We fix the door, the lamp, the tires, create blueprints for buildings and use them in the event of a fire for people to escape and so on. We have the knowledge that we have through countless trial and error (discoveries), and we give it willingly for them to learn it, and then they have the audacity to say that they don't need us.

That's what crazy, 90% of human inventions were created by men. If it was up to feminists, we would still be in caves probably. Appreciate what you have before it's gone. If you want more than what you were given, you should contribute more than you are contributing. It's simple business. After ALL of what I said, I will never say that we don't need women, because I know better than to say that. However, feminists have not at all contributed to the advancement of human civilization, and they are the loudest and most delusional group of women that have ever existed.

Even in the military the fact that they have to lower the standard fitness test just for the sake of having women in is absurd. We gave them their chance to do EVERYTHING that we do, and they decided that they only wanted to do some of the work but receive all of the benefits. This is an egalitarian society, and women can apply to become miners if they wanted to just like they can work in finance. They choose not to do the "dirty jobs" but they want all the good jobs. If they want the good jobs, they should also do the dirty jobs as well, that makes it more fair.

This argument is always so stupid. First of all its the same childish argument of "No you are not allowed to complain about your food because there are people starving in Africa".

It is not the job of Feminists to save the world of literally every problem at the exact same time. Working on smaller issues is more than enough and will still resolve these bigger problems eventually. Furthermore, what makes you think feminists are NOT advocating for some of these? The reason many men chooses these jobs is not because they are forced to do so, but because they are heavily compensated for the danger, difficulty and problems working these jobs present.

If jobs did not pay enough to be worth going there then men would also not want to be there. By extension, these pays and worker benefits is also attractive to women and there will be women (who are feminist) who also want these jobs. That is literally how capitalism works.

Take the military for example. There are two groups of feminists regarding this issue, one side is anti-war and does not want either men or women to be put into frontline service if the country is not dragged into a war. The other WANTS women to be included just as much as men in all aspects of the military which would mean the casualties would be around 50/50.

How about you actually shut up and listen to the other side for once? Maybe you will see that they are far more rational than you assumed in your arrogant ignorance.

It was actually quite hard to get this change because there was a bunch of traditionalists in the military whining about women being inferior and lowering morale and whatnot. @JDavid25 Would not surprise me if they had to lower the standards. The military is struggling to filling quotas because people are not as physically fit and healthy as they used to be. My personal view is also that those standards are mostly bullshit too but that is just my opinion since I believe modern warfare has mostly progressed beyond hitting people with swords.

Now, the big question here is if you are against equality in the military.. because it sounds to me like you are. How ironic that you complain about feminists not wanting equality in tough and dangerous jobs but you are against them sacrificing their lives in the military. And no I never said I want women in those dangerous jobs, just that feminist for the most part aren't lobbyifor those jobs, but jobs that can lead to high status.. The military is not for equality.. It's for war and fighting.. I'm a physically fit male, but I have flat feet.. Don't know if that's a requirement anymore but that would've gotten you out of the military.

@JDavid25 Well that is the thing you are not getting and that I am advocating. The actual physical standards in the military is not really important. They are not an athletics team. For example, as you get older they lower the physical standards. The military standards has less to do with you actually having to carry X number of heavy stuff X far in X time and more to do with you being physically fit for your category meaning you are healthier and have better work ethic and discipline.

As such, having a lower physical standard for women is not really a problem since the physical strength was not the thing they were looking for in this standard but rather if you were a good fit for the military or not.

If it worries you then allow me to reassure you. The US military will not stand for anything interfering with their readiness for war. This has historically included taking action to ensure that their recruits fulfills the physical standards that the military expects of them.

As such, the military will literally defy the government if they believe that they are standing in the way of their performance. This is not hypothetical and there is actually a parallel example you can look at to see just how seriously they are taking military readiness. Namely, the state issues with trans people, gays and women interested in having an abortion.

Basically, because there are states where these people are discriminated against the military are forced to start moving out their resources from these states because having people refuse to transfer or work in a base inside these states because their child is trans or someone in their family might need an abortion is a direct threat towards the militarys readiness.

The military is willing to screw over any state which discriminates against the people who are part or associated with their forces because they can not accept politics getting in the way of their job. If women were let inside the military with insufficient qualifications then the military would turn the government upside down to do something about it.

The fact that this is still a thing is a perfect sign that the lower physical requirements has no impact on the quality of the US military. Because else it would never be allowed to exist.

I agree with your numbers but I think it would be more helpful if people spend time asking the question what jobs are really sustainable for society. Because modern society at least in the west is a society that is built primarily on money making. You´re somebody if you have status, money and a good reputation.

Coal mining, logging, construction, military or working as a housewife are jobs that have none of them and therefore are of no value to many people. I bet that many people work in either construction or truck drivers, as loggers or what so ever do so mostly because they failed at school trying to get higher education and not because they are so fond of what they do.

So why blame feminists to want what most guys also would want to if they had the chance to?

There´ll be jobs that are preferred by either men or women because of the interests. Put a man in a room with a dozen or more toddlers, after some time he gets uncomfortable. If you give a boy a decision between playing an hour with a younger sibling and being allowed to use a computer for an hour what do you think he´ll do?

The solution has to be to create a world where money and status don´t determine the value of a job and it´s in my view the only answer to feminism.

Yes, you are correct to note that women have stayed away from certain jobs and industry. Personally, I am glad I don't have to do jobs traditionally forced onto women such as giving birth, child rearing, cooking, housekeeping, etc. However, this is a false sense of equivalency you are defining. Men and women are different, and their strengths/weaknesses can better suit different roles. Therefore, I don't agree with your post.

However, as social justice and specifically feminism has become so fashionable today, we find many pseudo-feminists who don't know what they are talking about. They speak in black and white abstracts, ignore context and nuance, and exclusively blame men. Difficult to understand how the "Most HELPFUL Opinion" goes to a male who doesn't really understand what feminism was supposed to be about. Feminists also ignore the fact that a big reason why women are not in top positions is that women CHOOSE to leave the work field to be mothers. As a woman in the legal field, I always hear that only 20% of partners are women, and we need equality. Equality is not 50/50 because more women choose to leave the demanding legal profession to either be SAHM or work part-time and work at home/raise the children. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I would point out that women avoid those kinds of jobs (logging, construction etc) not because they are lazy or wanting a "pizza party" but because of the sexist treatment that comes from being in those jobs. I mean in my country it is known that male tradies will jeer and make female tradeswomen uncomfortable, or won't take them seriously. Most nurses are women, and being a nurse is not an easy ride. It is hard exhausting work. I work part time as a caregiver for those with dementia. My job is difficult and hard. No ac either. But I love what I do and I think women work extremely hard in those kinds of jobs too not just men.

I would only change the term to "Modern" feminists. I have no problem with those who want equal treatment under the law. My issues are with those who want the benefits but not the responsibilities or try to claim equal pay for work that does not generate anywhere near the same income, like Women's Soccer, hence the "modern."
