We have a lot of problems. I don't need to spell them out. We all know them. We get on here day in and day out complaining about them, and how the opposite party caused them.
Well here is the most brutal truth I can say about it.
We as a country have become scared little puppets, who do everything their party leaders say. But the biggest reason we as a country have become cowards and fail to fix anything is this.
We only watch one side of the story, or only believe one side of the story. And that is the one that tells you, your party is doing great, and the other is destroying American.
Do you know how soft that is? You don't have the courage to look at your own party and say, wow, they are garbage just like the other party.
We call ourselves the home of the free and the brave. Yet we are not free, and we are not brave.
It takes real courage to look at yourself, and say am I doing everything right, or am I taking the easy way out. Well most of us take the easy way out. My party does everything right, while the other one sucks.
What does that do? It gets you and your party off the hook. "Not my fault, it's theirs. Now i don't have to have any accountability for anything wrong with this country, and can continue to pretend like they are guilt free."
So what do we do like idiot politicians tell you who to hate, who and what to like. And you guys go. Okay as you wish.
Let them take advantage of us. Break the law, selfishly make laws that benefit them, and screw us. Then they give us 1 law that you like, and you all are happy with that.
How do we react to everything defend their horrible actions, and continue to push blame to the otherside.
We allow politicians to tell us outrageous conspiracy theories, and claims that make no sense, to reality, law, or science and we go yup we believe you.
We allow to news to tell us the most far fetched stories, hand pic the stupidest people they can find to argue the opposite side of the agenda, and you guys go. Yup this seems legit.
Why? Because we don't have the courage to challenge them.
We don't have the courage to listen to the otherside's point of view.
We don't have the courage to say ok politicians you claim the otherside is to blame. But what about your lack of action in doing anything to solve this problem but cowardly pass the blame to someone else.
Is this really who you want running this country?
Is this really how you want to be remembered as the cowards who let their political party play you like a fool, and you thank them for it?
Stop allowing this, start voting against them, and start holding them accountable.
We can do better, than the people they give us.

For my whole adult life it has always been I voted for the lesser of two evils. Neither choice was very good but you just hold your nose and fill out the ballot. I never really felt like I had representation in Washington until President Trump was in office. I was skeptical about how a non politician was going to run the biggest organization in the world but the alternative was worse. He talked about issues that I had discussed for the last 30 years. Bringing manufacturing back to the US, developing domestic energy. Fix the VA, Fix the immigration system, get NATO deadbeats to pay what they owe and take a good hard look at our foreign aid policies and stop supporting countries that hate us. In short America First. I figured that even if he did a fraction of what he promised it would have been better than a continuation of the failed policies of the Obama years.
He was not without his faults and made mistakes that a seasoned politician would not have made but his policies were sound. I think the biggest thing to come out of the Trump years is he illustrated how much better the country was when the needs of Americans were put ahead of the needs of the rest of the world. All the billions of dollars that get siphoned off and sent to who knows where to line the pockets of who knows who should be spent on our infrastructure, our military including veterans and maybe give the middle class a tax cut.
Now we are seeing the other side of the coin. We are seeing an administration that is the opposite of America First. We have an America Last policy. Our domestic energy production has been hamstrung, the military is decimated, our foreign policies give the opposition everything and America gets the short end, we have a broken immigration system. The worst in history and are pumping tens of billions of dollars into Ukraine while the entire rest of NATO has ponies up 24 billion so far.
When all the foreign governments and the political establishment all hated Trump I knew we had the right guy in the White House
As it goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The political class is the enemy, and an outsider who was hated by ALL politicians would of course be the best representative of the people.
@Sixgunsound but he isn't. It just says what you want and a lot of his policies were set up to make him richer, at the less wealthy expense.
@msputiton according to Trumps tax return he actually lost money while he was in office. I am not wealthy and I received a pretty good tax cut. It was truly aimed mostly for middle class taxpayers. The only thing he did that screwed me was put a ten thousand dollar cap on property tax deduction
Me, and my parents taxes completely went from getting big refunds to owing several thousands with no change in wages.
While in office, he had to remove certain businesses of course temporary loss of money. But he set up everyone around him and his businesses so yeah he did.
He talks differently and claims things but he is the same. He just speaks differently
Everything he says is a lie. He just targets his lies to a different group of voters, and they are eating it up because nobody pretended to care for that group before.
But he doesn't care any more about y'all, than biden pretends to care for black people.
It is all a scam
Every politician is going to get theirs first last and always. What made him different was that the little guy got some of theirs too. This tax season I got 1/3 of what I got back last time because the Trump reforms either expired or were thrown out by Biden. There is no perfect human, but his economic policies represented my interests better than Biden's.
@Sixgunsound I have to file my taxes Saturday. I am dreading it.
@msputiton Thats insane. I made more money than I ever did and paid 4000 dollars less in federal taxes. It would have been more but Trump capped the property tax deductions to 10 thousand dollars to punish the high tax blue states.
Thanks for the MHO😎
