A click on your Cell phone, Skype, email, Tweet, or other means this 'old man' is yet to discover.

Immersing you in the Social Age as the World is morphed into a global village with all within touching distance.

Complimenting our lives in so many manners, affording bountiful opportunities that were never on offer in the recent past

It is hard not to immerse with it constantly in your face, dazzling you with the chance of what might be.

With this, it deludes by making us lose context.

The analogy of cake with icing, our real life being the cake, and the interactive gadgets being the icing.

More and more we retreat from our real lives to indulge, deluding ourselves that the icing can be the cake

Zombified by our Cell phones, oblivious to all, living vicariously through them.

Heaven forbid, one would seek out a face to face conversation of meaning with one a stone's throws away

Instead, you depersonalise by texting 'SUP.'

Spending hours out of every day desperately seeking on the Net for completion for everything we deem lacking.

Finding our voices in its joyous anonymity, allowing us to be all that we lack the courage or conviction to be in our real lives.

An 'Emperor with no robes' scenario is set up, with all that we are in this virtual fantasy stripped bare when the gadgets are idle, and switched off.

We are alone

Left to find justification in a reality that condemns with its surreal irony

Seen in the anti-social traits we foster in the 'Social Age.'
