I don't know if what you said is still true. When I posted this question
www.girlsaskguys.com/.../q1464244-hair-type-preference
everyone is happy with their curly hair. It's straight haired females who want different hair.
Wow amazing take. Just started reading more of your content. Followed.
I never really understood why the whole light skin vs dark skin exists they're both Black. People should be proud of what they are and not seek validation from other races. Don't get me wrong I'm all for interracial dating, heck I'm hoping to get this one girl and I think she's Persian; but the difference between me and the people you mentioned is I would date because I like the person not as a form of self validation.
glad you liked it mate :p it's a recurring problem in the black community tbh. Still affects us to this very day
i think black people in general are strong and love themselves more than their counterparts. statistics show that blacks commit suicide less than other races. Asians, natives and whites commit suicide a LOT apparently.
Yeah especially japanese people.
sorry...
I hate light skin vs dark skin battle, at the end of the day we're all still African American so it shouldn't matter.
I could go into a long sociopolitical excursus on the issue and tell you things about satisfaction and joy coming from hard work, thus lending to a sense of self-value and achievement. However, why say anything when Malcolm X hit the nail squarely on the head.
https://youtu.be/_cUc8tXWSVUThey all cheered and applauded him, though I doubt one in a hundred understood just how right he was, and is.
Malcolm X is my favorite Republican of all time. He's what I would call a radical, libertarian oriented Jeffersonian Republican.
Too bad no one listened to him. It might have changed the whole game.
I would just add that though most will probably see this as having nothing to do with the question at hand, I affirm that it has everything to do with the question at hand.
Excellent myTake with really indepth analysis of a socio-cultural that affects so many people. You could teach a course on this! Bravo!
Much appreciated! I don't know if I could teach this stuff, but I definitely have a firm stance on it, for better of worse
How depressing is US, Jesus...
Anyways I find it pleasing that both pics you chose Nigerian male model and half Nigerian/brazilian actress.
I don't have an opinion on that because as half Polish/Nigerian living in pretty racist Spain never experieneced all these on myself, maybe Im just lucky or positive.
yeah im a big fan of nigerians... especially nigerian women
"As part of that community, I'm voicing my opinion as a concerned citizen of that community, not an outsider looking in."
I'm so going to quote that when I see some outsider criticizing my community as if they have the right.
And in all fairness, Tocqueville said in "Democracy in America" that because slavery had been focused on one race in the USA, the damage would be limited in spread but much more focused. That as long as the black race in the USA existed, it would feel shame and anger because the shame of slavery would follow along, and the two races would never coexist in peace.
You don't understand the full meaning of what i said. i stated that as a fact. I am a citizen of the black community and not an outsider of it. i did not say that only people who are part of the tribe can critique the tribe. If someone who isn't black does something grossly wrong, im not going to sit there twiddling my thumbs saying "oh golly gee.." The point of that statement was to help people differentiate between people like me, and people like you.
"when I see some outsider criticizing my community as if they have the right"
Why does someone need to be a member of your community in order to critique it?
Sometimes issues are more obvious from the outside looking in. And I'm not only referring to the black community, I'm speaking about any group of people of any kind.
I often times see Europeans criticizing the US on here talking about how ridiculous some random American ideology is. Sometimes I think about it and I realize that they're right. And outsider's perspective can be beneficial.

WOW I knew it would be you to write such a master piece ^^
thanks mate =)
Thank you :) That was probably the most intellectual Take I have read so far. Really cool.
THE WHITE MAN AND THE ELITES ARE ACCOUNTABLE.
THEY DON'T LIKE THE BLACK COMMUNITY, THEY WANT US EXTINCT AND SEPARATED.
IF ALL BLACK PEOPLE CAME TOGETHER WE'D BE MORE POWERFUL THAN WHAT WE CAN BE.
Awesome take, I didn't realize the dark vs light skinned was a issue that's shocking there's girls who are equally beautiful dark or light skinned black girls. Same as other ethnicities
Very nice take, but I'm left with one weird question.
If so many people want partners with a lighter complexion, why do people tan?
Because not everyone cares that much about this stuff. Some people are secure enough with themselves to do as they please, which is great. Plus tans aren't permanent so they don't have much to really worry about
Getting a skin tan isn't based in self-hatred. White people tan because they think it's more attractive, but they'll still be white. Black people want lighter partners because they feel it's better than having darker skin, socially, politically and aesthetically.
the highest response rate was seriously Asian women? wow

Wow Asian men are just totally out of the picture...

All races have their own insecurities. :)
They should listen more to MJ's black or white song...
Well to me it's more than attraction. I see lots of beautiful women from all places, but culturally I still want a Slavic woman.
But I agree I think people should be proud of their ancestors and heritage. Your ancestors would not be happy to see this divisions amongst your people.
Just curious, are you that same guy who made a post about black girls being too slang?
nope
I like your willingness to tackle this important part of society. Good mytake!
