I must repeat again : read the title of the question. you're totally out of focus. Question isn't asking about history but presence.
I must say this : I MUST agree with you in accordance to history. Every nation and every religion has its own dark places. This is historical fact.
Point is who can learn from those facts?
But back to question : Asker is asking diffrently than you're answering or reacting. Try to read the title again and try to answer in accordance to question.
by the way.. I was studying history. And In acc. to the fact I was living 3 years in Turkey I've learned about historical books there and in the rest of the world.
Point: I learn that every Muslim ( almost - not all of them of course) is spitting on the West and Western culture. So my question is : Why they are going to the West and not to the other Islamic countries where is not war? Why they are doing when every Muslim is hating West so much?

BUT: Im trying to be positive and not to see everybody like enemy. And they are not. But leaders of Muslims are doing nothing against terrorists. ( radicals). As I've said, I was 3 years n the middle east and I've heard nothing against ISIL and violence on the west caused by islamic radicals.
I can believe that all are not bad. But what about other people? You need to give them proof as well. ( And please no talking about history. We can open another question about history but this question is about presence)
Invanders on the West are causing lot of pain to domestic people. I can't undesrastand it. People looking for shelter and help are grateful for everything and doing no problems ( history again) Why its now different?
And of course, we have different angle of view. you're Egyptian and Muslim, Im Western and Christian. But it shouldn't be problem or barrierre.

1. History is usually studied all. 7 000 years isn't enough for doctorate but for common people of course yes. ( Not offensive please)
2. I agree. Isis/isil is terroristic organisation which shoulr be destroyed. And of course this is not proof all Muslims are bad. And yes. In every nation and every religion is shadow of violence and shame.

4. you're asking if I would defend my own country. Answer : Of course, yes. ( you as well i suppose) My origin is Norway, I was in US army, moved to London from L. A., married, moved to Istanbul for 3 years and now Im in NL. My home country is west. Not only NL. It means - if anybody will attack Western countries, Ill be defending. It is not about religion only, its about western values, freedom, human rights, respect and peace.

I didn't want to say it but if you want to find reasons you must study history. You need to know historical and political facts about this age and religions in this region. Palestine and its people - you can read lot in bible and its opposite than you're saying. Palestine is historical centre if you will take religions. There were Christians, Muslims and Jews cos all of them they had something precious there. But its for very long debate.
We are living in this century and its wrong to call history implemented to today's world. If we will be still looking to the past : Muslims will hate Christians and Jews. Well. I was living on the Middle East for 3 years and trust me, much more Muslims are hating Christians that Christians ( or Westerns) are hating Muslims. This is not about that Christians hate Muslims but Muslims are hating Christians.
Because Islam itself is a evil religon. The Koran is full of racism, bigotry, hatred, murder, sexism, and intolerance. Many Muslims are peaceful and do not take the Koran seriously, but many Muslims do follow the Koran and instigate terrorism.
A person cannot be a muslim if he or she does not believe in Quran.
A muslim may not believe other things which are not written in Quran but believing in Quran is a must.
For example, Muhammed going to space is not written in Quran.
So some muslims believe that Muhammed went to space, and some muslims don't believe that.
But if something is written in Quran, you have to believe in it if you are a muslim.
