If a man cooks, its professional, and artistic..
if a woman cooks, its just her household duty.. why?
Over the ages men have been the "Dolomite" sex, meaning that most people look at it like they are there to pay the bills, work lots of hours at work, provide for their families. But Now a gay a lot of things are changing. Not many mind, but the way things have to be. Im not trying to be rude her, im just stating the fact. But now a days, sexism is turning around. Tbh, i see it all the time, women protest about feminism and shit, but when u give them an inch they take a mile. You may say "Ya but we are still expected to cook" And "there are so many jokes!" blah blah blah, the point is that when it comes down to it, i. e the important shit, like jobs and stuff, women are becoming more powerful. I can list many jobs where someone will want a girl instead of a guy. But still, if a guys ask you to make him a sandwich, its not cause ur a woman. Its cause u probably make amazing sandwiches. And if you ask us to, fix ur car, fix ur computer, fix the broken table, ect. We don't complain about it, we do it cause it needs to be done and you asked us to. In overall, its not ur "Duty" its cause ur good at cooking, Its not cause "its ur duty" is cause ur good with kids, and me might not want to quit his job thats he might have worked at for so many year. im just simply saying. Sexism works both ways.
This is a common misconception nowadays. Years ago yes and our parents generations this was very typical. The husbands and wives that I know, do whatever they do best. If one cooks better, then that one cooks or whatever.
Thanks!
Because that's what women did back in the days. Women used to stay home, take care of the kids and make dinner when the man got home from work. Today, the situation has evolved. Many more women are taking up careers and high-responsibility jobs, like men. Most men don't have a problem with that, but sadly, some are still trapped in the way things used to be and won't accept the fact that women can work and that they can cook. My dad cooks , and we don't praise him for it hahaha.
Generalization is everywhere. LOL
Cooking is something you do because we are, hungry, I am hungry , they are hungry. LOL
I would cook, because I had time, I wanted, because we needed something to eat. He would cook, because he had time to do. Because he liked it, he wanted to do.
I don't believe in roles. I believe in willingness. I believe in completing each other.
Idk. When I was in elementary - high school my dad was the one who made dinner, cleaned, and laundry.
I thought (Still do) it was completely normal and so did all my friends.
When people think like you posted it's probably just because of that gender roles crap.

I disagree it's an art regardless of wether the man or women does it. I think it is important for a women to know how to cook though. While it is traditionally the women's duty to do household stuff I don't think a lot of women or mothers get the praise they deserve. A father may be the roof that protects and provides for the family but the mother is the foundation and walls that keep the family together and sustain them. Their role is very important. I do think if the mans cooks better then he should cook it should be whoever is better.
You have got to be kidding me. Women are praised constantly for what they do. Look at even the emphasis of Mother's Day over Father's Day. There's articles written monthly on how much it would cost to replace a mother with equvalent staff. You can hardly watch a TV show, movie or commercial where the mom is portrayed as the hero, and the dad character is always portrayed as an idiot.
Because feminism, feminism everywhere

I like this pic. :)
I don't think a woman HAS to cook. Like I've not seen any being forced at gun point to cook or incarcerated for refusing to cook. If you don't want to cook, don't cook. If you don't think your cooking is receiving enough appreciation, don't cook. You have every right to make your own decision on this, you have no right to demand praise off others though.
Because I said so. Go Patriarchy!

I assume you are too. :P
My wife just happens to like cooking. We don't think of it as a household duty or an art, it's just what she likes doing. She also doesn't like my cooking unless I'm baking or cooking stir-fry.
I don't know. But in my house, dad's the one who does the cooking, sometimes it' me and we consider it and others as duty. In my house we know the difference between fine dining (which is art) and regular everyday cooking (duty)..
Why do you take these insults and arrogant words to heart? I think it's just two people cooking. In a kitchen. Because you know, they're hungry or they like to cook?
her duty? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL where do you live?
It's been like that since the days of tribes.. we can't change it lol.. and honestly it doesn't feel wrong.
I've never heard that. Nowadays people are amazed if a woman can actually cook. It's so easy to cook I can't believe that hardly any woman my age can cook
If a man fucks a girl, its normal, if a girl fucks a man with strapon, its abnormal.
