Is infidelity inevitable?

my boss claims that no matter what kind of relationship one is in that someone will always end up cheating. "its impossible to not get bored after years of the same partner...so we all cheat...the point is to not get caught." so do you guys think cheating is something we ALL do? and does it include having thought of other people?

No, cheating isn't something we all do, I have a few friends that have been with their childhood sweethearts & wouldn't even contimplate cheating or thinking about another person. if your in 'love' your in 'love' and you devote your heart to 1 special person. I think its ok to think about other people as long as you don't act on those thoughts (of course there is always going to be someone else out there who is hotter/smarter) if you can't devote your heart to your partner, what's the point of the relationship?

This is completely false... Your boss kind of sounds like an ass. You can definately go a lifetime without cheating as long as you have good priorities and and thankful that your partner is even with you to begin with.

Ridiculous. Your boss is a scumbag. You make a conscious decision to cheat and not everyone is willing to do it...the good and loyal people.
