Long story short, Ex Cheated we had split & have no rekindled with the exception that he completely cut her (person he cheated on me with) off. Am I unreasonable for asking? And what am I doing wrong in this situation? And if I am doing something wrong, what the right things that I should be doing?

You have kids together !!! or am i missing something here?
In case you have kids and a house together so do like my brother did! First: Make up your mind about staying or leaving him, staying does not mean he will stop from meeting the other person
Second: Decide on custody of your children, is it 50-50 or full custody or any deal you two agree to. Worst case scenario! Court (that what my brother did)
Third: Who own the house? Both or just him? Is there any evidence that the loan or the house stands for both of you? If it's both's names , decide on how to sale it or one of you buys the other's half. If it's only his! I have some bad news for you, you have to find another place. If it's yours, well that's bad news for him.

This is a serious family matter and you are not overreacting, if he keeps meeting the other person and you are trying to make things work so it's time to split. Nothing of it is easy and it will drain energy from both but ! If you are up to it, it's recommended

Yes we have kids together & the house is in both of our names. When push comes to shove the house I dont worry about, he can have that.

Unfortunately, when I tried to leave the town the first time he got a protection order in place that prevents me from leaving with the kids without his permission or clearance from a judge.

Fair enough. But! If you two get things settle in court things would be much easier for you, of course you have to go through battles, many of them but it would be much better in the end. Start making plans , lawyer up and make it happen. I don'r mean it as an order here, just want to make it clear.
