Are men funnier than women?

In general I'd say yes. Most girls aren't truly funny to me, just occasionally amusing. My best girl friend is the funniest person I know and a lot of my friends tell me I'm funny too. Even my mother is hilarious, she's always the life of the party and has people crying laughing practically everywhere she goes. But the majority of my guy friends are definitely funnier than the majority of my girl friends. I notice many girls take themselves too seriously, which makes them much less amusing.

it honestly depends on who you're hanging out with. also depends on your sense of humor. fart jokes do get old easily.

Totally. That's where there are so many more male comedians. That's why there are barely any actually funny female comedians.

But my crush is funny as fuck (especially for a girl) and that's another reason I love her. It's rare to find a girl who can make me laugh out loud that easily.

I have found that men are funnier, but women are brighter.
Lets put it another way: men make you laugh out loud. Women make you smile most of the time.

I'm pretty sure men have a strong genetic advantage over women in the humor department. Men have always been funnier on average. There are exception though.
