Does anyone else feel annoyed at disgusting displays of gluttony?

I have a colleague at work and she is like the size of a house. She puts on a disgusting display of gluttony and it makes me sick.

For example, we had a team lunch because I won a bake off. The restaurant was a sharing sort of thing and she immediately went in first and quickly got everything onto her plate and was eating as if she was in a mad rush. I thought she was about to choke.

Before I knew her, I treated her to some snack at the local convenience store. She was like "Can I have this? Can I have that? Can I have this? Can I have that?"

Does anyone else find fat people who are this obsessed with losing food disgusting? I sure do.

I hate that. I hate when you go to a restaurant, order dinner to share between all your friends, and when the plate is put on the table they're the first ones to grab it and put half of the food on their plate, then the other half has to be shared between 5 people.
Then they're usually the ones that are less generous, I mean, the ones that either don't tip, expect to pay less or come out with the "Ohhhh I don't have money on me, would you mind? I'll pay you back", and they never do.

Many of us in the US eat too much, period, and when it's a public display of eating too dang much, yes, I find it repulsive.

I mean, I'd be annoyed if I offered to buy someone something (anything, doesn't have to be food) and they tried to take advantage of my kindness.

But I don't really care what or how much other people eat. It's not my business and it doesn't bother me.

Smh when you order food AS A GROUP, yet there's that one person that rushes to eat everything. And they're the stingy ones when it comes to paying/tipping.

A little less animated and I try to be neater, but I do. Fortunately, I eat a lot of healthy foods, and no soda. My metabolism is supper high, because I am always stressed out, so that doesn't help lol My boyfriend weighs two of me, I eat a lot more than him. My previous boyfriend, I remember out eating him by mistake on our second date and feeling incredibly embarrassed.

I think anyone really stuffing theirselves is gross, but when they're obese it disgusts me more. It's like, sure, enjoy what you eat but not too much..

Yeah, gluttony in general is a pretty negative quality. But don't lump all overweight people in with people like her. My mom's overweight due to several autoimmune diseases. She is actually a pretty healthy eater. But people still judge and ridicule because "it's all her fault." Sure, there are lots of people who are overweight because of their own actions, but there are also people who genuinely, medically cannot help it. I guess my point is don't judge a book by it's cover.

Ah, okay. I gotcha. You're all good. I wish more people were so considerate! :) Some insufferable people insist that "it can be helped!", no matter what illness (es) the person in question has.

Overconsumption, greed... when have these ever improved one's health?
I think too many of us forget how our actions either directly or indirectly affect others.
If you can't hide your feelings, and you struggle to find a positive and gentle way to address this, the kindest thing you can do is to walk away from this relationship.
