Do some women/feminist really think men are obsolete?

How many of you actually feel this way

Do women need men anymore?
Why are so many feminist against or hate men in general?
I mean if you don't need men any more then our species is sure to fail.

There are some women who certainly do think men are obsolete.

Ehh, I'm a feminist and I don't personally think men are obsolete, nor do most other feminists. I don't think men are important just because they're men, more that they make up roughly half of the world's population and without them, the world wouldn't function as it does now. Less of a gender thing and more of a 'how the fuck do people think we could manage with almost 50% of our population gone?' kinda thing.

Of course you could make the same point, that's basically what I said. The only reason your sex (so you being a man or being a woman) really matters is the ability to have children. Beyond that, it makes no difference if you're a man or a woman and there's no reason each sex should remain aside from making up roughly 50% of the world's population and being extremely difficult to manage without purely because of the numbers.

If men are obsolete, so, soon, will women be. I think it's more accurate to say that some feminists think that our current concept of masculinity (as in violent and/or toxic masculinity) will be obsolete. Gender roles will not be as strictly enforced.

True we don't exactly need the traditional gender roles. I think we should be equals. In every aspect. Whether it be occupations, dating, activities, politics, etc. Both men and women should have equality.

Men or I am very much needed in society. Men still do all the dirty jobs that no woman would want to do. Women take up about 13% only of the military. What about the firemen, garbage men, construction workers, freaking skyscraper window cleaners heh. You just don't see women very much in those type of occupations and those occupations are still very much needed today.

So, the article is basically saying that determining roles as masculine is becoming obsolete. True. She also says that the notion of men doing and being better is becoming obsolete. True.
