Why do people add me on instagram then unfollow weeks later?

So they request to follow an even like the odd pic. Then they unfollow for no reason. People i've known years from school. Ones who think their hot aswell but aren't. I was nothing but nice to them. Some weird bitches in the world. Or could my pic of white girls with no lips offended them?

Anyway, they may have just wanted to nosily peek into your life, then after seeing what's going on no longer care. I've done that with some old past friends of mine. After a while it's just like, okay, I no longer care about this person, unfollow.

Or it could be that you're not following them back, usually after a while if a person doesn't follow me back I unfollow them.

I hate when people do this too! They seem to usually be promoting something and want the follower count without the courteous mutual commitment to pay attention to people other than themselves. Beware of any ordinary person who has a huge amount of followers while only following a small amount. I try to follow the least amount of people like this, but if it happens I will unfollow them too. It's not cool to be a fake d-bag.

Lol no problem, I share this frustration! Even someone I worked with unfollowed just about everyone after he recently hooked up with a talent agency. I hope he's just using that account as professional and makes a new personal or takes time to pay attention to loyal followers. That's the only incident of someone I know in real life doing this. It also happens A LOT on Twitter.
