If I learned one thing from high school track and cross country workouts, is that it is very difficult to look good as you run/workout hard. You are sweating, mouth is open from breathing hard, and you are definitely not photogenic as you give that semi-annoyed look of pain and mental fortitude lol. Even if you are "hot," being photogenic is incredibly hard when you are pushing yourself.
However, I've also seen people who joined the cross country team and stuff back in HS who somehow looked good while running. These people usually were "social runners," meaning that they didn't work too hard to push themselves, but rather were just wanting to have fun and talk to people as they ran. They would run very slow, in their sports bras, with some sort of waterproof whatever makeup on, with their phones in their hands blasting whatever hip hop/ pop/ rap tunes that were the latest hits.
So basically, the point is that you are all good. Be proud of your sweat and non-photogenic after-workout presence. That means you worked hard. I'm not saying all of the hot gym peeps are only hot because they aren't working hard (some people are just friggin hot lol) but many of them are that they way because they aren't putting in much effort to get to a new level. They may be taking it easy or going at their comfortable workout pace, sometimes for the sake of not looking like they just worked out.
the girls that look hot are hot because they wear skimpy ass outfits ORRR half skimpy but really (emphasis on really) showing off the outline/imprints of their body/curves.
I have noticed (from my girl friends over the years) that the hot bodied ones would want to go to the gym quite often. They always asked me to go but normally I refused. I would much rather work out in my home where I felt comfortable. However, one day, they convinced me to give it a try. Being uncomfortable, I wore loose shorts that went to my mid thigh and a loose T-shirt. My friends however wore sports bras and shorts that barely covered their ass. When we walked in, the turned into "run way models". Strutting their shit every time a guy (ugly or hot) would walk by. They would get on one of the machines and barely move. They weren't there to push themselves. They were there for the attention that they got. And of course, they all had hot little bodies so they looked like they worked out 24/7 when in all actuality they sat on their asses all day and ate junk food. Some people just have that sort of body naturally. I don't, at all, lol.
Not every bangin' woman uses their looks as an advantage in the gym. Some genuinely go to work out. Others though, its all about appearance and attention.
Oh my god, I've noticed that too. They go to the gym, wearing pretty much nothing, face caked with makeup. After a half an hour into my workouts, they seem like they haven't done anything, their appearance is perfectly intact, while I'm... looking like a drowned cat and panting like there's no tomorrow. Like, even if they're at the weights, I haven't seen a single one of them pull a weird face :/ It's annoying lol, more like they're just a waste of space in there :') That's why I rarely ever go to the gym, I end up feeling super self conscious.
Those women always made me laugh. I goto the gym to lose weight and get fit. It's not a dating venue. If you watch, a lot of those women won't do intense workouts. They will have a little jog and go home, or a little cycle and go. They rarely do weights and floor work is minimal.
They were hit on a lot more, but I used to have the men come over and start talking or help me improve my technique. I made some good friends from the gym.
Be a sweat box. At least you can go home and if you want that slice of bread, by god you earnt it!

because they spent more time getting ready to look good at the gym rather than putting all of that effort forth into working out like a madwoman. I went to the gym at 5:45 am this morning before work: I did not look cute.
I wonder the same thing, especially when I am hiking. I see women either hiking as well, or even biking. They look perfect and I know I look like a sweating mess. This one girl I passed on an extremely hot and very humid day was wearing black leggings and a sweater and she looked perfect. I was wearing shorts and a tank top, I could feel myself sweating and I'd forgotten to put my hair up so I knew I was a frizzy mess. I looked in the mirror when I got home, and it confirmed what I thought. I looked like a horrible frizzy sweaty mess, and I also somehow got dirt on my face. She had looked as if we were somewhere casual and we were relaxing and it wasn't unbearably hot.
Why do you care? These girls - and quite a few guys as well - go there to show off and be stared at and appreciated for their physical looks alone. Going to the gym is just an excuse to show-off and wear as little clothes as possible.
Why do you go to the gym? Either you want to get fit and in shape or you want to look better to help your self-esteem in a superficial way. If you do it for the first, then you shouldn't care about those at all as physical beauty eventually fades away and is of no substance. If you are the second, then you should learn to have some proper self-esteem independent of how you look like.
I know what you mean... the ones who show up with a face full of make-up and what looks like false-eyelashes on, spend most of their time yapping away. I don't think those ones are really there to work out. Looking mostly to ogle at the guys, more like be ogled.

Yeah, do you not feel like you've done a real good job though? When I go to the gym I sweat like a motherfucker! My face goes bright red, I'm out of breath and soaked. A lot of girls seem to just like to move in the gym. Not actually raise their heartbeat bit just wander about in their pretty gym wear drinking water from their pretty water bottles.

I think a girl who works out and sweats is very attractive if she has the right outfit. That is because a girl coming out of a shower is equally attractive. Like hair gets wet and sweat runs down her neck and you can see little drops of sweat form on her arms and legs. Hot as fuck. But not if you are wearing a full body tracksuit that is ;) Does anyone not like having sex in summer? You sweat a lot but I find that is a huge turn on.

I rarely hit the gym these days but I run every evening. I'm in a total mess everytime after I've finished running and my sweats are like a waterfall dripping non stop. Goddamnit, I will never understand those girls that apply makeup and run and I'm like excuse me? Yesterday I was behind this two girls and the track wasn't wide enough for me to run across so I ended up walking behind them while they take their goddamn selfie.
lol I know how you feel, I used to go to a gym with people who had the full work out gear set, everything matched, their hair was done perfectly, make up done perfectly.
I just got off of work, looked tired as hell, sweating like a pig, ponytail falling down and they're barely even sweating.
Too be fair though, they're just walking on the treadmill like a lot of girls do, not really doing an intensive work out lol
I have no idea. When I work out, at home or at the gym I am a hot mess. Well to me. I secure my hair, but I get some fly aways. My face gets red and I sweat a bit, around my neck mostly. I don't sweat as much because I think I'm perpetually dehydrated, no matter how much I drink. D:

dont worry about how you look in the gym, that barely matters! its how you look outside that counts!
Don't wear cotton, because when you sweat it stays wet, wear only synthetic clothes. Do your hair in a nice bun, spray some hairspray and tame the flyaways with some wax. Have a napkin to wipe sweat off. Wear a lip stain or waterproof lipstick.
