Mostly because circumcision is the forceful removal of the foreskin, typically from unsuspecting babies who cannot give consent. Then later in life, they obviously grow up with all the problems that the lack of foreskin causes, think it's normal and how it should be, then have their own children mutilated to validate the butchering that was done to them.

The foreskin serves as protection and as a natural lubricant. It also keeps the glans from drying out and becoming callous.

Normal penises are also easy to maintain (takes like 8 seconds total), and you can already reduce STD infection rates by using a condom. In fact, compared to using a condom, the "rate reduction" provided by circumcision is insignificant. The only reason why anyone uses circumcision for STD prevention is because of the HIV rates in Africa, and because they can't afford condoms in certain regions. Other than that, it's been shown that circumcised penises require extra care in children because they are less protected against physical harm, and that they're circumcising kids in the USA because people thought it stops kids from masturbating.

I don't care about condoms, and obviously they protect any penis, that's obvious. That's nothing to do with it. Bottom line, the fact is, non-circumcision increases your risk to getting anything on your penis. Why? Because the foreskin is a sheet of mucous membrane that viruses and bacteria love. That is a fact. It's far more hygienic to be circumcised. It's proven... time and time again. The only thing that they say uncircumcised men have is that it increases sexual feeling slightly. But my sex life is awesome and I have earth shattering orgasms, so that doesn't bother me.

I don't know where a person thinks a circumcised penis looks better than a Natural Penis. I don't think a surgery altered body part looks good at all with the scars and discoloration caused from the surgery. Your son will thank you for leaving his body for him to decide what to do with it. My mother had me later in life. Having lost a previous child as an infant, her pregnancy was higher risk. Consequently, my parents were keen to have all preparations for the birth made well ahead of time including arranging for an attending physician. It was not until almost the last minute that our doctor stated his requirement that I be circumcised. If my parents did not consent, he would not attend the birth. Reluctantly, my parents gave consent so as to secure his services.

Every time I look down at myself I'm aware that a part of my body is permanently missing because a doctor, long since dead, was an asshole.

Not something to celebrate or be proud of.

There is nothing astheically pleasing about infant genital mutilation, regardless of the sex of the child.

I will tell you this, when my son was born, he was NOT circumcised. Like I said before, I'm the only man in my family with a circumcised penis.
