How FU*KED UP is the story of the 21 year old female babysitter who had sex with an 11 year old boy getting spared jail by the Judge?

This story is highly suspect. I've run a quick search through Snopes and didn't come up with anything one way or the other. It's too late to dig into it tonight, but I'd be very surprised if this story is true. A judge just doesn't have that kind of leeway. There might be some people who think that way, but a judge would lose his job in a minute for ruling like that.
Just imagine if the situation were reversed... Like an older man with the younger girl. The judges justification for his decision was, and I summarize, the woman's maturity was of lesser extent than her age, and the boy was older mentally than he was physically. So the arithmetic between their ages was actually "less" than their ages might suggest... Fml
I hope that's a National Enquirer story and thus totally false. That's disgusting. An 11 year old can neither consent nor be mature enough to understand what sex really is. Gross miscarriage of justice.
@BellePepper reading the article though, it seems reasonable (though I disagree with the ruling). She was sentenced to 6 months suspended for two years - I don't know what this means but I think she is doing jail time, if not all at once. She's a registered sex offender now. The judge is trying to rehabilitate her. I don't agree, but I see the logic.
It means she will never do jail time and she is only banned from working with male children. How do you rehabilitate a child sex predator. Child raping Peadophilles should be locked up forever to protect children it shouldn't matter what sex they are.
"Rehabilitation" so paedophiles can be released back into society to prey on children again.
This is the link I really want to get you this morning. www.thefrisky.com/.../
I just don't get how CPS isn't being involved.
Its in England so their waiting for the child to die before they do something.
Op rehabilitation is fine but why would any sicko worry about commiting rape or molest children in a consequence free environment?
Consequence free= no jail time to be served.
Will being on a register physically prevent a sick perv kidnapping a little girl to rape her then mudering her and cutting her body into pieces and then dumping the body in a drain somewhere.
Exactly so remove them as a danger to the public ie jail.
"You can serve your time and still be extremely motivated to re-offend." Unless you want to build an Azkaban complex, you can't keep people in jail indefinitely. The infrastructure just won't support it. Pretty sure the UN wouldn't allow that kind of totalitarianism either. I agree that the ruling is wrong, but what you're suggesting is equally a contravention of human rights.
Years ago these kind of predators were locked away in mental institutions forever.
if it were reversed, the guy would be away for life
The dad should go to jail too! First he had a thing with the babysitter who was deemed to have the mentality of a child and then he let his son be raped! It's sick.
Anyone that would have sex with a child is a sick molester who deserves to be locked up.
She raped him... 100%. If it was gender-reversed she'd be away for life.

I'm not surprised anymore. Women are now treated like children (and feminists are, as always, too short-sighted to see how this is going to backfire).
What else is new. It's the same old double standard. Part of that "Male Privilege" I keep hearing about that I'm supposed to have. Women can molest an underage boy and it's no big deal...
Sexism against men at it's finest.
Where are the feminists fighting the double standards that MEN face too? Aren't they for equality? Oh wait, they aren't.
If this was a 21 year old man with a 11 year old girl, things would be quite different. It's the double standard and society's undoing of men.
Sickening, but not surprising. Women always have this sexist leeway in the judicial system. Reverse genders and the guy would be locked up for life.
I mean is this really even news anymore at this point?
If she's that thirsty, why doesn't she go for me? This planet is stupid. People who don't want sex are having sex, people who want sex have no sex lives.
That's one lucky ass 11 year old. The babysitter doesn't look too bad either.
I'm sure this is what the dad thought too -_-
That child needs to be removed from his parents.
I count 3 shitty shitheads lol
What the actual shit?
It's fucked up. She should be arrested.
@9mfeo I meant she should be locked up. That's a double standard to keep women out of jail for something men easily would be jailed for. Just because a woman is attractive shouldn't mean anything.
*** stay locked up.
Mentality incompetent which means she's free to do it again and again.
@9mfeo It shouldn't matter whether she's attractive.
Bruh, you're the one who said she used her attractiveness to get out of jail time. She was ruled mentally incompetent, meaning she wouldn't understand why she was being punished, thus the judge ruled to rehabilitate her instead. I think it's an in-patient program. She's still being locked up.
@9mfeo The judge may have found her attractive, which may be why he was so lenient.
It's the same way that you can't charge someone who has a (exceedingly rare) form of violent schizophrenia with murder - they can't comprehend that they committed a crime, so punishing them would be pointless. Like the guy who beheaded a passenger on a Greyhound bus in Canada a few years ago - he was having a schizophrenic delusion and was sentenced to rehabilitation.
I read nowhere that a qualified professional said she was mentally incompetent.
@9mfeo I find it extremely hard to believe that she didn't know what she was doing.
