Are Indian and Middle Eastern women considered "Asian" women?

When guys say they like Asian women, they usually are talking about women that look like this:

Which are usually women of Japanese, Chinese Korean, or even Mongolian decent.

They never refer to women like this:

Which are women from India and the Middle East. Since these are countries that are technically in Asia, I was wondering if these women are considered Asian too. This confused me for a while.

So so when guys say they like Asians, are they talking about women of Indian and Middle Eastern decent as well, or just women from Japan, China, Korea, etc?

Yes, women from the Middle East and Asia are considered Asian women.

Asian is an big category, but like some people here was already saying, most people think mainly about east Asian when they say Asian, almost on the the same principle that most people think mainly about vaginal sex when they say sex without anything else, it's better to call indian and middle eastern women exactly like this and instead of "asian", even if calling them Asian might be technically right.

I would not personally but that might be because there are far more middle eastern and indian women in the country than east Asians.

Indian and many Middle Eastern women are technically Asian because they reside in the Asian continent. They just are not East Asian, but we shouldn't generalize Asians anyways. Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, etc are all Asian but not close and while looking "Asian" or specifically East Asian, they still have very distinguishing features and cultures.

Here in the UK, if you come from the continent of Asia then you will be referred to as Asian when people are speaking of your race. When British people say Asian's they often mean Indian and Pakistani people, we have a much higher number of people from that area than from far East Asia.

We have a large population of Asian people from that area, less so from East Asia so it makes sense that we refer to those people when speaking of people of an Asian Persuasion.

Given that they are all from Asia, yes. Only ignorant people this Asian means Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean or Japanese. The majority of Asians are none of those.

That's not an easy question. Geographically there's no doubt of course.
But when people talk about the Asian look they generally mean the East Asian look: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Singaporese,...

Turkish girls are mainly Asian, Saudi girls are Asian, Yemenite girls, Israeli girls and many Inuit girls too.
But geography is an unknown idea for too many people.

In the US, yes that's true.
But in the UK, it's the other way around.
It's dependent on which Asian groups are more visible.

Here in the UK, it is different. When we hear the word "Asian" we think of Indians and Middle Easterns. So yes, I would consider them Asian.

Here in England when we say Asian we mean Indian/Pakistani/Sri Lankan/Bengali etc. People who are labelled as Asians by Americans are known as Oriental here. And Middle Eastern is called Middle Eastern.

No usually Asian girls are Chinese, Jap, or Korean, but not Indian, or middle Eastern, bc they are different categories and they can't be grouped together.

Yeah but we do place them in different categories because most Asians here are oriental

Geographically middle eastern are western Asian
And India is south Asian
But India is so diverse, there are mongoloid, negroid, and Caucasian people in India depending on which region you go to

Yes they are technically Asian. Indian is South Asian and Chinese, Japanese, Korean is East Asian but they're all under the Asian category. It's the Asian continent after all.

Egypt is part of the Middle East but it's in Africa, I wouldn't call Middle Easterns Asians :p
