Why are southeast Asian and Asian pacific women looked down upon?

I stumbled upon a news website of Swedish/Danish men going for southeast Asian women. Most of the comments and answers on quora say that "those who go for southeast Asian women are 'losers' and 'of low standards'".

For people in especially southeast asia and asia pacific , if your spouse is a caucasian/white/european man or woman, that is regarded as high class event.

Most of the comments I see are those who say that" white men who go for southeast Asian /asia pacific women are losers who couldn't get any high class caucasian women. "

You can go for Japanese /chinese/Koreans, indians, middle eastern or europeans, black, and still be regarded as equal social standing with the spouse but southeast Asian women? For them, that's really low class. They really look down on southeast Asian women.
I have heard more than once saying that southeast Asian women are far inferior than caucasian women because of physical looks.
But Why?

Addition : i am also deeply saddened over the issue and common thought as I am also a southeast Asian. It seems that as if globally, there is a racial/origin hierarchy. They see southeast Asian women seldomly as toys and things. You don't see much movement for southeast Asian women or Asian pacific. Or representation of those women in modern world. Southeast Asian are told that they are never enough and can never be as the same as caucasian women, look-wise and social - wise.

First of all, CONSIDER YOUR SOURCE. That's an isolated group of opinions, Sarah, not the view of the world or even a particular country. That's the skewed views of a small group of even smaller brains. To lower the worth or societal standard on anyone or to elevate your own is ridiculous and absolutely asinine.
Second, pull yourself together. No matter what your race, background, financial ability or where you're from, there'll always be someone a little richer, a little poorer, a little smarter, etc. And there'll always be someone who follows the beliefs of others because they heard it and wants to belong or because that's what they made to believe is the standard and not the exception. Meaning don't be a sheep. Get sad over BS you know is BS. Don't give them satisfaction of making you believe that you are less important or less worthy than you believe that you are. Just don't begin to have an inflated view of yourself or your people because that just perpetuates BS.

If I had to warrant a guess, I would say it's because of the southeast Asian culture. Southeast Asian women are culturally taught to be more domestic or docile, So they would have less agency in their own actions.

Also because of the old European occupation of Southeast Asia in the 1800s, same as India, that culture puts a high amount of value on someone's skin color being white. Leftover class values from when they had been occupied, where the highest class of the society was the Europeans.

So! Because the women are more docile/domestic, and a higher value is placed on someone's skin color being white, that means that some white men will specifically target, for lack of a better word, Southeast Asian women as romantic or relationship partners because it's easier to manipulate them. And because you see that happen often enough, in a white community, the idea gets put out that the guys who go after Southeast Asian women do so because they are losers who don't want an equal partner they just want a house servant who fucks them.

Now it's not 100% true, I would say most organic relationships between Southeast Asian women and white men are normal, with out a fetish or manipulation. But! I don't know how often it really happens, but the fact remains that some white men do fetishize or target that specific group for their own purposes.

Exactly. Even in India, there is a glorification of the fair skin. Every one prefers a groom or a partner who is of fair skin tone. This is slowly changing now. In fact a popular skin cream called Fair and Lovely had to take the word Fair out of its name. This was a long running brand in the country. You need to stop thinking you are inferior and judge those who sometimes prefer South East Asian women as losers. I don't even get attracted to women on looks. Looks are secondary. Confidence and a good sense of humor are more than enough for me to be attracted to any woman. Not saying you are not pretty. You are a good looking girl too!! If men don't see this then they are being shallow. They are going by what media tells them is good looking and can't make their own judgement. I've seen your pictures and you look as beautiful as any other girl around here.

Western guys will always dig "exotic" women. But just because a woman is exotic doesn't mean she's always going to be beautiful. It can lay in the eye of the beholder.

But I suspect you're talking Indians rather than "South Asian" as Indians in general are looked down upon and subservient, but think themselves as "Brown Jews".
