I'm black but can't stand being around other black people?

As uncomfortable as I am being around all white groups, I'm starting to realize, I just can't stand being around other black people. I mean, I'm just nothing like them. I don't act like them, don't talk like them, hell, I don't even look like them. Me, I'm actually fit, unlike a lot of black girls, I take pride in my body. Unlike all the people in the communities I've lived in, I actually value basic fucking knowledge, unlike them, I don't pride myself in being loud and obnoxious. Maybe it's the neighborhoods I've lived in, where all the people are poor, obese, and ignorant, but, walking around the neighborhoods I've lived in, I just feel completely disgusted. The saddest part is, I used to fight so hard for the rights of my people, I was a pseudo-black nationalist, but now? Now I wonder, what the fuck was I ever fighting for. Advice?

Change needs to come from within the black community. it doesn't mean that we are in need of another activist to lead the black to equality, they already have that (just my personal opinion there). I dont mean to deter you from what you may wish to achieve, nor do i aim to disrespect the black community. But until there is a mass movement from within the black community to change for the better (well, again here i use by personal opinion of what society should be like. Some believe society may be in its best form already) they will forever be grounded. You, i believe, find yourself not conforming to the standard black community which, as you described it, would not be such a bad thing. So now i urge you to follow along with my personal advice, here you may stop reading if you would like.
Personally, i feel you can achieve great successes but you must remember not to turn and look back at your fellow blacks, who may be lower down the ladder, and feel the need to help. I warn against this because it only causes more problems. The change can not be ignited from the top, it must come from where the change is needed. By your description of yourself and your surroundings i would have to place you, already, higher up the ladder than those you refer to.

Advice is to understand that there are tons of shit people out there independent of ethnicity, age, religion, political view, gender, sexuality, etc.

What you are probably referring to is some quite toxic black areas and communities. Those unfortunately create the negative stereotypes all blacks have to suffer from. Stay away from those and just stick to decent folks - no matter if black or white or yellow or whatever.

I kinda live in those communities, it's hard, and, I know I shouldn't think like this, but, I think, I strive so hard to be more, I fight, I run, I cry, I tear, I do anything to be something other than what is expected of me, not only that, but I've tried convincing others to be that too, but they just don't seem to care, like, at all, they happily conform to the expectation.

I've felt that in some ways blacks have something that whites don't. I guess in reality skin color doesn't make any changes, culture does. I grew up in both black and white neighborhoods and I took shit from both - they both hurt. Like you, I'm not "true" to my own heritage. It doesn't really matter one way or another.

Don't worry so much about defining things in terms of race. All groups have their share of defective product (hell, I think this about other whites a lot), but it's no reason to get bitter or disgusted. Live your life for you, not for how much or how little pigmentation people possess.

When you look around you and open your eyes you start to see thing you didn't notice before. There are a lot of people black or white that never open there eyes to realize a couple thing, it doesn't matter what race you are there's trash in everyone of them. no race is immune from having trash in it. and you can not generalize each race by its trash.

I am sure all the white peoples are not the same. Inside all ethnic groups there different communities, never generalize.
