Why do Indian Women dye their hair red sometimes?

I notice a a lot of Indian women from the Caribbean tend to dye their hair red.

What's the reason behind that? Is their some religious association?

You're kind of pushy with this question. Everytime someone gives you a possible answer you shut it down. Lots of people dye their hair red because it's a cool color. My hair has been red, purple, blue, brown, and green. I just like having new hair colors. Race doesn't matter.

it's red henna dye, it's common in indian ocean cultures and the muslim world. i've dyed my hair with henna (im from somalia) my parents do too, my arab and indian friends also know what it is.

I think its because nearly every women love to change hair style or color and Indians have dark ones, must be hard to be blonde, so they try red... I think...

Henna is popular in India, it's found a lot over there. They choose to dye their hair with henna because it's not damaging like chemical hair dye, it's cheap, and they get easy access to it. I may be wrong, though. I just made an assumption.

To signify a transition/change in their life but the question i'm asking is why is it red seem to be a popular color of choice for Indian women. I see a lot of girls who dye their hair the color red instead of other colors like brown, blonde and so forth.

The majority of Indian girls I've seen pick the colour red. So it's obviously a very preferred color. I'm just curious as to why

Yes but I've never seen any other race where the majority of women pick that colour.

For example Caucasian. Some girls go red, some blonde, other brunette, some make a blend of colours, other pick blue.

The vast majority of indian women I've seen throughout my life all pick the colour red when they dye their hair.
