Proof that most Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese, Greeks, and South Slavs are not white. Your thoughts?

South Europeans are Caucasoid and European, but not White, they are a part of the Brown race together with Arabs, Jews, Latinos, and Turks. If we accept that South Europeans are White, then we should admit that Arabs, Turks, and Iranians are White too!

My thoughts: They are not white, they've never been white, they'd just like to think they are white because a long time ago, white people who have a massive mistaken superiority complex, convinced the world that they were the best through colonization despite mass murder, mass rape, and outright theft of land and resources. Even though they were the world's biggest criminals, they convinced other people that they were inferior unless they were more like them. So now it's like some sick, twisted, backwards thing that people from all over the world have where it's like so many of them desperately want to claim being white, despite all of the crimes against humanity that have been associated with the white race for centuries.

I have been to Greece and Italy and those people do not look white.

Being caucasian It's not only about skin/hair/eye colour, but also about numerous other details (DNA it's not so simple) like the shape of the skull, nose and eyes for example.

LOL, that's just stupid, Slavs are absolutely white, lots of Slavs have blue eyes and blonde hair, including South Slavs.
And for your information, yes - Arabs, Turks, and Iranians (Persians) are also white, whether you like it or not, they are darker just because of the warmer climate, the same goes for the South Europeans (Italians, Spaniards, Greeks, Portuguese).

yea you are right for the most part, however, the right term is caucasian, and yes the mediterranean and slavic races are "white", that is determined by the cranial features. even middle easterners that are darker almost brown are "white" because they are caucasian

Southern Europe was conquered by Arabs and moors so, it's not surprising that some souther europeans are darker than norther Europeans.

How ever their are European Italians close to Switzerland, they are unmistakably white.
So nationality is not the best indicator of race

I have never met a man who was not attracted to me because of my skin color. Even self proclaimed racists have tried to date me! I've barely been single a day since kindergarten, and I was proposed to many times. My husband is white. My mother and grandmother also could not keep men away, and my mother is much darker than I am. Everyone thinks both are very lovely and desirable. The only thing men really tend to have an issue with are stereotypical "black" personalities. It's certainly not about looks.

More attractive than white or black women. As for Portuguese, I dated a Portuguese guy and DNA tested him through 23andMe thinking he may have mixed heritage. He said it was punishable by death to mix blood with Moors when they invaded, so it was unlikely. DNA testing came back 100% white. Imagine that. Not much more African DNA than my 100% Norwegian grandfather or French/British grandmother. My 100% Norwegian grandfather came back with.3% African DNA. Portuguese came back with.5%.

My son is 27% black and looks like a white kid. He has pale skin, hazel eyes, and dark blond hair. No one has ever thought he was anything but white unless they were told, and someone once asked if he was even mine. My daughter is 26% black and looks as tan as me.

Some black people, Mexicans, and Indians get darker. There may be more that do, but those are what I am familiar with. Very few people do not tan in the sun. Most can get very pale as well. If I stay out of the sun, I get very pale and people have a harder time guessing my ethnicity.

My nana is 84% black, but she's paler than I am and has gray eyes! Ethnicity is not about skin color, it's about DNA. Only a very uneducated person could not comprehend that. DNA says that Portuguese are indeed as white as any other European whites. The discussion really ends there. Phenotypes are such a tiny part of DNA. They don't really define anything. Your logic is like thinking everyone with blue eyes must be white, except we know that is not true since their is a blue eyes gene that evolved in the black population of the Solomon Islands. It's dumb. Pale skin is not specific to whites, tan skin is not specific to non whites any more than brown eyes and brown hair are.
