90s vs Now. What makes their sex songs different?

They're the same to me but I know a lot of 90s lovers who try to make excuses and say that the 90s is "just better". Literally, their sex songs are "just better" and not "explicit" like today's. And I ain't talking about the LOVE songs, I'm talking about the "let's just fuck and do a one night stand" sex songs. I just feel like the 90s be getting too much credit, like Beyonce and how overrated she can be (my bad haha I ain't throwing shade, just being honest).
I mean, I was born in the 90s (well, late 90s. I consider myself to be in-between) and I love a lot of their music, lifestyle, shows, movies, cartoons, fashion, and what not but don't try to sugarcoat everything, either.

My main memory of sex songs from the 90s was every marginally disaffected girl claiming to like NiN, and not liking anything other than 'closer'.
