Is a bartender a trashy job?

I'll be leaving to new york once I graduate so of course I'll need a job , I actually thing this job would be hella interesting and not to sound vain but I think I would do well in the tips because I think a lot of guys are attracted to me and I'm pretty nice.

a lot of people put a bartender in the same category as stripping and stuff , but do you consider that trashy , like if you were a guy and I told you I was a bartender would that make me less attractive?

hahah yeah bartending is the same as stripping...right. the thing with bartending is that stupid guys can and will try to flirt with you so that's the only downfall but its not like coyote ugly where you get up on the bar and dance and sh*t haha. you make a lot of money anyway so do what you want and don't care what people say.

no its not a trashy job at all unless you get a job in a total dump which is unlikely as there not going to be hiring if there a dump and not doing well .

and if you get a job in a nice place it could also turn out to be a great social connection

I don't think it is. You're not taking your clothes off and grinding on strange men for money. Don't bartenders just serve drinks? How is it trashy? Wow people are judgmental.

No it's not, unless you fall into that lifestyle. I've seen a friend of mine age faster than I ever thought it was possible cause of how much she drinks. I'd advise you not to do that.
