I usually tip depending on rhd service received and my mood.

I think it's actually proven the women dominate these types of jobs and also make more than men in tips. But we still constantly have to hear how women want equality.
It's because they are sex objects, they don't understand that their looks give them everything in their lives.

It's guys like you that have forced the place I work to add an automatic 20% gratuity charge on every guest check.

First of all adding gratuity is perfectly legal and secondly in our place you would pay before you left. Due to the fact that we have a very large bar and entertainment we also have a very soft spoken 6"5" 365 lb bouncer who would contain you until the county sheriff arrived. You will get the choice to pay your bill or get a free ride to the Sarasota sheriff's lockup so you can bond yourself out and return for your hearing. If you are not a local your required bond is two and a half times of your dinner bill. Guess you are smart enough to figure out the reason for that.
That percent is not thief. You tip because is pay for service. You pay doctor, lawyer, taxi driver, dentist, and etc those service you pay. What make you think shouldn't pay for service that person bring you food, clean your mess and make sure you eat safe and happy.

@snowangle It is a shame we have to implement this, but with jackoffs like this dudeman who are just plain ignorant and some of the older folks who tip but think we are still in the 1950's. Our girls do remind every customer that the gratuity is automatically added and are very surprised at how many still leave some extra besides.

If you're a habitual poor tipper, I hope you never go to the same restaurant twice. We remember you. And while many servers, myself included, are too professional to screw with a customer's food, some definitely will (I've seen it).

You stupid son of a bitch tipping is not begging for money it is the majority of your earned salary when your job is being a waitress. Places that don't tip just raise the price of the food so they are able to pay the service help.

and even if I wasn't a student, I hate places that make you pay gratuity fee. I mean, there are housekeepers who work hard cleaning room and toilets. That's hard job. There's construction workers. People filling gases in the cold winter. They're all doing hard work, especially housekeepers I mean who wants to clean toilets.. and other people's shit... Yet, no one tips them. It's mandatory to give them tips. Why should we tip you waiters when all you do is bring that's already been cooked from one place to the other. I don't think you're doing anything that's extraordinary and you're getting a pay. It's not my fault how much you're getting. Other people have to do nastier and harder work than you, why should you be treated better?
