I'm African American and that's cool and all but I constantly get mad about my caramel colored skin and wish it were lighter, and wish my short curly locks were longer and straighter, so no.
Be proud of your skin and hair! Make people jealous
Giiiiiiiirl. Nooooooo.
Black is beautiful, no e what shade. Don't let them length of ur hair determine ur beauty
You would be stupid not to be proud of or at least know your history. I can't wait to bring more little Hungarians into the world one day! Chuvąc nēm! 🇭🇺
hello From Turkey
Hello to you too my friend.
Yeah I am because I'm proud to be me. If I weren't one of the things that I am I wouldn't be.
Love this comment
I am proud. I'm unique. I have 6 different races as a part of me and I love it
keep loving it man
thanks man
Eh I don't care to be honest. I'm just human. And that's just how I try and see it. XD.

Yep, I'm 100% Irish born and raised... well 94% Irish and 6% German if you want to get technical 😂
Technical is good though
ethnicity: neutral
nationality: yes, i'm proud
race: neutral
heritage: neutral
I respect that
I guess I'm almost 100% European , and I'm fine with it.
I'm not like really proud of it or unhappy with it.
Not even the culture behind it?
Most of my family was born and raised in the Netherlands as far as I know.
Always wanted to go there
Okay great 😊 It's pretty cool here.
Yeah i didn't get to go when i was in my Denmark, next time. Ill just have to make do with LA for now
I also want to visit LA 😊
Already the name is great because it are my initials haha.
thats funny, you should. its always warm here
It's always cold here 😂😂 It's summer and it looks like fall/autumn hahaha
so it would be nice to see some sun and feel some warmth haha
Its hot over here right now, about the 80s. Fall and autumn are my favorite seasons
Cherokee creek Cuban German Irish Scottish and love all of it.
What's the story behind that? 😐
Not sure. My ancestors liked to get around I guess haha
Yeah they love to MIX IT UP!
lol I see where I get it from then!
What do you mean? 😂
I never discriminate
As you shouldn't, thats great
I think it is important and healthy to be proud of your homeland and heritage. One should be careful not to make an idol of it, however, because then something that is healthy and ordered becomes disordered and evil.
But yes, I am very proud of where I live, and where my ancestors have come from. God bless America, and God bless Lebanon!
And I am seeing a lot of people who are saying "why should I be proud of something I had no part in?" Because, the blood that ran in your ancestors' veins and made them who they are (at least partially) runs in your veins as well. So yes, BE PROUD!
first of all I'm proud of who I am so I have to be proud of my color, nationality all this is what makes you this is who you are point blank if you not proud of your nationality you have a problem with your self
Many on here don't like their nationality
I'm white and there are some things I'm not proud of, like slavery. It's important to keep something in perspective though: every race has practiced slavery and europeans were the first to abolish slavery thanks to Christian theology. I can't help but be proud of the incredible scientific and cultural advances we've made. And while it may not be popular to point this out, our military might and prowess is unmatched
I'm not ashamed of being Finnish but I'm not particularly proud either. I just happened to be born in Finland. At least they kicked USSR's ass back in the day, though.
I'm proud to be white.
To everyone who will start bitching now that I'm a racist, I can tell to go f*ck yourselves cause I don't mean it in any racist way. Stop being reverse racist crybabies :D
I'm proud of nothing I have or had no control over. I'm proud of my accomplishments, character, humor, artistic talents
But i'm not proud of my height, race, birthplace, or dog/cat allergies. These are things I spend little time on in my day to day
I have a lot of german blood in me and a very small amount of indiain blood. my great great grandpa on my dad's side simon hayn came from Germany in the 1880s he had a few kids and one of them was my great grandpa aloyis peter hayn. he married Irene hayn and they had kids my grandpa was one of his kids. all my great grandparents are dead.
I'm proud of myself. My ethnicity doesn't really mean much to me. I am me and happy to be.
You and many other people
well , I am proud of my nationality and who I am which is Kurdish but sadly people mistake us by saying we are Persians tho
I wonder why
historical ties also little bit of words are kinda similar but culturaly and folk totally different
Thank you, i didn't know that
np, also Wikipedia page about Kurds is inaccurate I checked it myself
Yes im Indian and I love my culture and heritage especially the food and music! I feel lucky to come from such a rich and colorful culture
Love this comment
reverse I feel embarrassed and ashamed of my nationality tho I think "Nationality" is another word like "religion"/"history"/"culture"... they just cause problems and makes people farther from unity
Not really But I am ok With that. I was born in Turkey where all the people have mixed genes My mom's caucasian since their ancestors living in georgia but I am not sure about my father's ethnicity he looks like greek or something like that.
According to Ancestry. com I'm apparently:
68% Italian/Greek, 15% Middle East, 15% Caucasus, 1% East European Jewish (idunno) and less than 1% North Africa (idunno).
I hold my Italian heritage in the highest regard. I dont think much of the others.
I too am Mexican American and am proud that our culture has maintained its Christian faith, traditional ideals, and a huge emphasis on family whereas the white world has abandoned all of that for leftism and progressive ideals.
YES, I will always be :)
I am a Filipino, well with a 1/16th blood from chinese and I'm proud of it
My middle school had a lot of Filipinos, they're awesome
Yes we are :) I'd love to be friends with everyone lol
So do I
awesome :)
Yeah, I'm proud of it. I'm somali and the region is one of the most misunderstood gems in the world.
I'm still not visiting somali
@lunedeprince it's not exactly a vacation spot
i have no doubt about it
I'm Indian and I'm in love with my culture/language/heritage etc
I love the attitude
nice. which part of India do you belong to?
@Arya_Christ the South, Kerala.
amazing. I honestly would never have guessed it.
@Arya_Christ haha what would you guess?
that's a very nice question. well, I was surprised when you said Indian so you can say I would have guessed non-Indian.
@Arya_Christ where are you from?
India.
@Arya_Christ and which part?
North India-Uttrakhand.
@Arya_Christ ahh nice nice 😀
I'm proud of me. no one should be ashamed or proud of circumstances which they have no control over, ethnicity, nationality, race, heritage, gender. I'm proud of my achievements and the person I am today.
absolutely! my ethnicity brought capitalism to the world! By electricity modern medicine! ended slavery! brought the Magna Carta equal rights and brought those ideals to the world!
Yep I'm Sicilian, Irish, and Armenian (my eyebrows look like dragon wings... it's pretty nice)
Dragons are cool though
Yes I'm 100% European but I've never had a DNA test
Which part of Europe?
East and west
I'm the weirdest mix you can imagine. But I don't take pride in things I have no control over.
I'm Arab, Israeli, English and Greek.
That's a cool mix of things, quite a story if you think about it
True true. It is actually. The look on people's faces when I tell them is hilarious.
My English professor ended up asking me if I argue with myself in my sleep...
😂 Do you know how that can to be though?
Not at all. But it was funny though.
I look white so people don't really expect it at all.
Do i look what i said i was?
You do.
Thank you
ashkenazi or semitic?
Me? Neither. My great grandmas? I have no idea.
No. I had no part in my race, ethnicity, nationality and heritage. I just happen to be born as who I am in a particular country.
Do you enjoy the culture?
Sure
you can't be proud to be white American anymore no one likes our race. lol.
thats jacked lol
Coza other bastards doing bad shit in your name. Same. fkr white folk everywhere
@Dale1982 nope it's completely fine to be proud of being white. Just because you have insecurities doesn't mean we need to also.
@StickStickity13 that point flew right over your head. I am proud of being white. The jews been calling themselves white forever and fucking the world over in our name now the Jewish council decides they're ethnic minority as the political winds change and the social ones. We get a bad rep with everybody and everybody thinks we're all privelaged. I grew up dirt poor and fighting for my life. Anything I've got I broke my back to get
@Dale1982 it was a poorly constructed grammar with vague context
@StickStickity13 it was poorly constructed grammar you mean. You're having a good at my written skills despite fucking them up yourself? Stones? Glass houses?
you get what i mean. God forbid someone white be a asshole we're all racist in anyone of colors eyes. its all truth.
fuck it why care anymore.
@Dale1982 The difference between an accidental unnecessary article and that nonsense you wrote is not comparable.
the truth is our government is racist as hell, indians still want us all to give the land back we're all guilty being here on stolen land of natives regardless of how you view it. But its always the "whites fault" no its not we just happen to be the minority here. eventually we won't be with all the mixed races in the US then who can you blame? us average whites don't have power over the media, government, upper power. you get it! we have just as much control as anyone else here which is none. but the whole white race is blammed.
Actually the Natives migrated here, killed each other, and conquered each other on a regular basis. Europeans were just way better at it.
regardless of what happened call is white washed call it false history whatever the hell you want im being 100% honest when i say whites are blammed for everything that fucking happeneds and then turned around and called racist like what the hell is that?
im a woman i have rights in this country did i have rights some odd years ago hell no i didn't am i dwelling on it hell no im not. so i really could give a shit less. of course theirs still sexist men around who gives a shit i dont have to choose to associate myself with those types of men. race is the same thing.
@StickStickity13 fuck me we've got a condescending pedant with a superiority complex, somebody get the cattle prod and the net, we've got to catch this thing quickly
@Dale1982 You couldn't catch a cold.
@StickStickity13 your as funny as a fire in an orphanage on Christmas eve
@Dale1982 That's hilarious actually
in this day and age, there is no such thing as a pure race. I enjoy cultures and diversity. pride is usually the reason people hate one another...
No, I was born into it. I don't choose my heritage or race or ethnicity. I am who I am as a result of my experiences.
I don't actually know it for sure - My family is Irish from a long way back but there has been many foreign DNA influences in Ireland over the centuries I don't know the breakdown.
Smith with family heritage in Yorkshire (Jorviik). Viking as a motherF.
Vikings are cool
As far as pillaging goes aye hahaha
no, I take pride on who I am as a person and my accomplishments. Not the color of skin or the works of those long gone.
I feel you
Lol nah not really, I can't be proud of something I had no say in. I'm just proud of me and that's enough.
I got you Kakashi
why should we feel proud? we r all the same. that only creates more differences! we don't know how to respect!
yes im proud being a Filipino.. i love my country and culture... is just that i hate the politics here...
Race: Fully European (Swedish & Scottish mostly with a bit of French)
Nationality: British
I'm quite proud of my ancestry as I believe everyone should be.
Seems like its mixed on here, that people are proud
Yeah. I see some people saying you shouldn't be proud of things you had no control over or had no direct involvement in. I find that opinion to be a tad idiotic. Does that mean I shouldn't be proud of my family? My friends? My nation?
I agree with you 100% man, people can be so sensitive and righteous on here
I am, I wish I knew all of what was in my bloodline, I'm mostly African American only other ones I know are native American and Irish down the line
It's something that does not matter. Skin color or race doesn't make you better person
Of course not
Hell yes! RULE BRITANNIA! GOD SAVETHE KING ACROSS THE WATER!
Haha that was funny
No with the current state of my country, im not proud but I love my nationality and heritage.
Thats whats up
Yes I am proud, but I don't walk around thinking "wow im so proud of my race today" lol
I am proud, although I'm white and British so it's probably considered racist
damn!! am really proud of who I am moreover I reaaaaallllyyy love my colour and my beauty haha.. I really am proud of me
My parents are from guyana but they went to middle, highschool and college here in the US, we aren't religious or anything and culture wise, pretty much American. But unfortunately im dark skinned so being born here isn't enough to be American, having the same culture isn't enough, studying American history and staying aware of politics isn't enough. A European can move here today and be seen as more American than me. I HATE my ethnicity, race and skin color. I with i was white.
Feel proud for who you are. White people made whiteness somehow desirable. But that's stupid. Like the most stupid thing ever. You can make your skin color actually very desirable to others and to yourself, by embracing it and starting to like it. I've never met a person with a skin color I disliked. All of them have their charms.
You know I want to tell you one example. I live in capital city where cocky people live, that's my home town. People from my city sometimes bush and laugh at others who come from another less trendy or less popular cities. So some people who come here from another cities try to fit in and hide their origin unless asked.
But I've a classmate who always makes it clear where she's from and emphasizes how happy and proud she is of her origin. Maybe she isn't. But I respect her for her respecting herself and her roots. And so do other people. Never hide your identity be proud of who you are. Give others reason to respect you and even if some assholes don't..
Fuck them... Go in the room full with them and "force" them to respect you by you respecting yourself.
Never ever dare to say again yoy wish you were white. What's so desirable about whiteness?
@LaFemmeFatale It's us that they're universally accepted... brown people need to go above an beyond to gain what white people get by default
Above and beyond in what sense? I hope you don't mean slavery or something
@LaFemmeFatale a highschool kid can have a girlfreind by just being himself. but a brown person has to get a 6 figure job, work out, spends hours trying to look as good as he can, spend money on a nice home, car, clothes, etc. and only then can he even THINK of a girl looking his way. Its like how some people can get good grades without trying while other need to study their asses off. But then even though ifa brown guy tries 1000x harder than a white guy, he'll still probably be rejected and people will say he doesn't try hard enough.
Ahh I guess. Are you rejected even by brown people?
@LaFemmeFatale Yea, im not as loud or obnoxious as convetional Guyanese people, indian people hate me because Guyanese are "dirty indians" because they share a country with black people and they don't speak hindi. And then every other race thinks im Indian and they all hate Indians anyway.
I'm happy with my race and ethnicity. I'm very proud of my nationality and heritage and want to live up to all that was given to me.
Half French half Egyptian. VERY proud of being Egyptian more than being French :)
Being French is better
That's because you're turkish you say that :) but actually, I take pride in being an Egyptian.
can u say me the reason that i am Turkish?
Pk Tu relies le fait de choisir les Français à la place des arabes et etre turc?
Please set aside the political issues between Egypt and Turkiye. You Turks make fun of the French either or, so don't pretend like you would value that over the Egyptian. We have a valued history-well known by the world. It would be stupid not to give it recognition and take pride in it :)
Blackness? Most black guys hate on each other over black chicks. Not knowing that if a black chick has the ability she'd sellout her own race for the money or a piece of privilege. The few black people that keep it real I feel sorry for them because they were out gunned and were too docile when it came to other races. I would like to disassociate myself from all earthly races but when the shit hits the fan my skin is still black. So in the end I will stand with the blacks and die.
I'm not proud or ashamed of my ethnicity ot nationality. I'm just neutral
Lol ain't no somehow, pretty much everyone was directly affected with the slave trade!
I'm mixed with a lot of things but I don't say that I'm that race. I just say I'm Black because that's what I mostly look like
Not really (im 1/4 British rest Australian) but apparently im related two Ned Kelly by marriage so kind of
its just papers man it just happend for you to be born there
growing up in this country can make you love it and maybe even die for it
I'm proud of my native american/german half.. just not my trigger happy, red neck, mountain dew suckin, dorito muchin, BBQ slingin heritage.
😂😂😂
Love the username, by the way.
you should embrace it, ever had squirrel on a stick?
@FreedomByChoice nuh

Lol what struck you..

@FreedomByChoice I prefer KFC over finger lickin rodent

@FreedomByChoice Nah
I'm German American but born in the US, I'm kind of proud. I like the German culture, the food is delicious. And I have the German drinking gene so I can drink everyone under the table lol :P
not really. i see no reason i should be proud to be white, im glad just to be alive and decently healthy. but im certainly not proud to be an American..
