Do you believe that your freedom ends when others' freedom begins?

"Your freedom ends when others' freedom begins."

Our World Religions teacher told the class this quote once, in reference to doing harm unto others, when she used bullying as an example of freedom of expression exercised by bullies and their "freedom would end if the bullied would exercise his/her freedom to take action against them."

However, I simply think this does not apply in all cases.

If you were free to run a business, and a competitor opens its own firm as it is free to do so, does that necessarily stop you from running your business just because another firm begins to do the same thing?

I am interested in your viewpoints.

Do you believe that your freedom ends when others' freedom begins?
Yes. I believe that my freedom ends when others' freedom begins.
No. I believe that my freedom does not end when others' freedom begins.
