Do you think women are faker and act more disingenuous than men when it comes to sexual attraction and appearance manipulation?

I’ve speculated about this just now and came to the conclusion that women might be faker and disingenuous when it comes to sexual attraction and appearance manipulation, here’s some examples. 
•Heels: augment a woman’s height when she’s obviously not that tall. It’s not real, but fake. 
•MAKEUP: this is a big point. Makeup changes a woman’s appearance drastically. A lot of the times I’ve seen major differences between before and after makeup pictures. Makeup literally changes how you appear, akin to putting on a mask of a different appearance 
•Bra/breast augmentation: Now, I’m NOT all informed about this to any extreme extent but I do believe there are specific bras that women can purchase that augment the breasts to look a certain way than they really are. 
With men, you GET what you SEE.

Our faces are fake (makeup), our hair is fake (dyed), our boobs are fake (some of us), everything about us is fake. Most especially when it comes to what is inside of us. We lie constantly, because we are far worse, character-wise, than even our closest friends or lovers will ever know, and we desperately fight to keep all of that hidden.
We are looking for our true daddies, basically – the idealized daddies that we never had – somebody who can see through all of our false fronts and call us out on our bullshit and put us in our place. The problem is, those type of men are very few and far between.
We also lie about not wanting men with large penises. If we told the actual truth about the number of different men and women we’ve slept with, and if we told the actual truth about our fervent desire for big dicks, our pool of potential suitors would shrink drastically, to the point where it would completely dry up. So we lie. Most often, we will claim that we’ve had between three and eight sexual partners in our lifetime. And, to our way of thinking, it isn’t a lie, because if we had five sexual partners last Saturday evening, and our man asks us how many sexual partners we have had, and we answer, “Five”, well, technically, we aren’t lying.
Most women are narcissistic masochists. We hate it when things are going well, especially if they continue to go well for long periods of time. We know down deep that we are fucked-up and not worthy of anything that is truly good. So when things are going well in a relationship, we eventually sabotage it. We just can’t help ourselves in this regard.
We could have the greatest, most handsome, most well-hung husband in the world—a one-of-a-kind man who makes all of our girlfriends jealous; we could have the greatest children in the world, who are beautiful, well-behaved and ambitious; we could have the most enviable career imaginable; we could have all of the money and prestige and the truly good things in life, and we could repeatedly tell ourselves over and over, and believe, on the surface, that we would never cheat on our husbands. But down deep we know that it’s a lie. Because one day, we could walk into a grocery store, and some bad boy could whisper just the right combination of words in our ear, and the next thing you know, we’re at the Motel 6 getting it in the ass. That’s just how we are, and any woman—especially a hot woman—who says otherwise, is a liar.

I honestly feel this depends on a person's character and how they view society. If you feel women have something to hide by dressing a certain way or wearing makeup you may need to reassess your views of all women. However, there are those who specifically dress-up to catch a man and purposely hide who they are.

Women do not just dress up, put makeup on, and wear heels for the sake of attracting men. They do it to make themselves feel better, to give themselves confidence, and to exert their personality on the world. To think most women do this for the sake of men is to feed into a fallacy of who women are and what they are looking for.

Men have ways of deceiving as well. Wearing suits represents a type of man that is successful and intelligent, when in all actuality they make it home and be bums and play video games all day. They also can project fake airs and exude a level of confidence which makes them come off as more pompous and what they may be.

As for me, I do not wear a lot of makeup and I do not wear heels often. Being in the Academia world, it's easier to worry about student context in their writing rather than what I'm going to wear the next day.

By all means, I am not looking to impose any type of impirical feminist views. I feel men and women should be able to dress as they please without somebody second-guessing why they dress a certain way.

Depending on the culture and mainstream media of what is implicated as "beauty-fy-ing" products, "false appearance manipulation" can go both ways... for example, look at Korean boybands - they wear makeup and have millions of females who are sexually attracted to them (I'm not one of them!)

But speaking about myself, I'll call myself out on it and say that I wear heels when I wine and dine/for fancy smancy occasions where I don't wish to be "that short asian" in group pictures. I do wear simple makeup like eyeliner and mascara on a daily to enhance my eyes in becoming fuller... but when I'm lazy and know I have a long day ahead of me, I'll go bare faced. As for breasts, I've come to accept my size and know that my frame wouldn't match if I was granted with a cup size or two larger. I wear normal wired bras or bralettes and don't care for padded/push-up bras.

I've come to learn that I am more self cautious of my outter appearance when around those that I don't know too well or am not exactly comfortable being around - I tend to make more of an effort in being put together to look/seem more confident. But I'm slowly moving away from that mindset as life becomes more busy and I realize that there's really no one I need to impress but myself.

From a male perspective, women say they want men to accept them as they are, yet they hide who they really are or, in this case, what they really look like. Personally, I have no problem with women wearing makeup, just as long as it's not enough to make them look like a completely different person without it. The thing with pushup bras, though, that's just false advertising. That's like opening up a bag of chips and half of the contents of the bag is air; you're upset because half of it was air, but you can still take that disappointment in stride because the other half was the chips.

i think it's less about manipulation in the majority of cases (although in some cases it's about manipulation) and more just about trying to appear attractive based on societal standards of beauty. if a woman felt no need to wear heels in order to be more attractive i'm sure she wouldn't (and i believe most women wear heels to accentuate their legs rather than appear taller).

Yeah they are. The weirdest part about it is that they claim they aren't doing it for men's attention. "I wear makeup because it makes me feel confident." Lmao, why do you think it makes you feel confident? Because you get male validation and approval from it obviously.
That's a big part of why I'm so turned off to the idea of heels, makeup, and push up bras and things though. I don't want to present something about me as different or better than from how it actually is. I want to be genuine, and I want to be loved and accepted even though through my genuinity I leave my physical shortcomings bare for all to scrutinize.

Yes, there is more false advertising with women, as some women can obviously look completely different without makeup like different people. I mean with the heels thing you can see she has heels on so the height thing isn't really that much of a big deal in my opinion as you can usually tell that she's going to shrink about 5inchs when she takes them off lol.
Bras, yes i suppose they can make you look a lot bigger than you actually are, as many people wear padded bras, myself included as i find them more comfortable.

-Beards do the same thing as make up & I've met guys who wear foundation to cover up blemishes.
-Certain hairstyles, or slightly heeled shoes (that do exists for men, the elevating sole is just more subtle) can give the impression that men are taller
-There are slimming/tightening clothes (for both males & females), men lie through their teeth about their measurements all the time, etc.

What are you trying to prove? That women are just as eager to enhance their most attractive features as men?

As you mentioned above, any man (or woman) with a cognitive capacity above that you'd typically find in a 10 year old should have no issue realizing that women aren't born with colourful sparkles painted across their eyelids, or lips in varying hides of sparkly, holographic pink. If the guy fails to see this, among other things such as breast augmentations... well. He shouldn't be allowed to leave the house without being accompanied by an adult who actually knows how to function on their own. Much less consider dating an adult who's hugely superior to him in terms of basic awareness re: the 'real world'.

Depends how much makeup a girl decides to wear & bra helps from sagging, holds them in place. It's quite simple, there are plenty of women that don't wear makeup, bras & dress in gym attire if that's what you prefer. To each their own. Depends how you look at it. Men will take supplements to enhance their bodies, wear product in their hair, spray cologne, & buy expensive
Clothes & jewelry. Some get their brows done, & wear spanx. It's just not as obvious. I know men that use beauty products too.

Interesting take, I will speak on my behalf in regard to your points. When it comes to heels I enjoy wearing them because I like the way they look and I only own ones that are comfortable, I'm also open about how I'm not that tall so I'm not trying to hide it. Make up I rarely wear because I feel if someone is going to like me I'd rather it be for what I look like, I do occasionally wear it, which is usually lipstick and mascara and I will admit that I tint my eyebrows. I say that because my face just looks weird with the natural non existent shade they would be if I didn't. As for bras, yes there are push up bras, etc, that can make the breast look bigger, I used to wear them now mine are just a fabric with non of that, again when I buy a bra usually I'd just find what was on sale because they can be expensive. This is just my views and in some cases yes women do these things for the purpose of attraction and sometimes they do it to make themselves feel good.

I have never been the one to criticize for "false advertising" too much, but when a dolled up lady complains about how I use concealer to tame my acne scars I have to exert extraordinary self control to not blow up with "bitch, nobody saw your real form since you were 12 years old" in her face.
