1. Rape is invasive and always about violence. It kills a part of a persons self. In many ways it can even lead to death by ones own hand:(
2. Sharkbite is bad, and it's probably REALLY BAD to be bitten there, but there was no one invading ones person or taking their personal self. It's an attack, yes. But not as invasive as rape is.

Being bitten by a shark may be more harmful but only physically.

I Have never been raped nor been near a shark, but to ME being mutilated by a shark bite (especially there cause the angle could cause internal organ damage) is much worse than a rape.
