Here's why I think it's the other way round:
1. Woman abuses man, calls man unfaithful, disobedient, or too slow with money. Man tells police and police laugh at him. They say he's soft, not handling affairs properly.
MAN TO BLAME.
2. Woman divorces man: case goes to court. Man loses because the woman can do no wrong. He cheated, he did something to her.
MAN TO BLAME.
3. Man and woman go on date. Woman doesn't like date. Woman calls police and gets man arrested. She says he assaulted her although he never did and there's no proof.
MAN TO BLAME.
4. Man meets woman with child. Woman takes man to court for money for child. Man gets paternity test and child is not his. Court orders man to pay.
MAN TO BLAME.
5. Woman breaks up with man. Woman shacks up with other man. Woman puts 1st man out of 1st man's house.
MAN TO BLAME.
6. Phil Hartman killed by wife.
