Yes minus our leader is very embarrassing right now. Canada. . I don't think it causes division among countries tho unless you are small minded and see every other county as shit. I think Canada is the greatest on earth but I do think there is plenty of other good countries aswell
No, you cannot be over devotional to a country that is for the people by the people and of the people. That's like asking yourself if wanting to keep breathing is selfish. It's a trick question.
I’m from the US & I’m patriotic because I’m blessed to have been born in a country that where I can freely express myself. But I feel like you should always stay unbiased and recognize when your country can be doing better
I like my country (germany) but I'm aware of it's failures just as much as it's acomplishments. I'm happy to live here but I wouldn't get defensive if someone points something bad about it out
Since I’m ethnically Indian but nationally British id say I’m Patriotic to two different and vastly different countries and although the two are worlds apart I love them both ❤️
I'm from the US and I used to be. But the military and politics took it out of me. I mean I'll defend what's mine but I'm not going overboard by pretending one nation is greater than another.
No I'm not i was born in a country and when I was 5, I left to another, lived there 15 years, then in my 20s I left again to another, so I don't really feel patriotic about any of these countries but I'm grateful and supportive.
Nationalist. Over devotion is really hard to achieve compared to the many here who hate not just the government, but the accomplishments, culture, and people themselves.
I do. We have a shitty governement, who is ready to sell us to the EU and immigrants, but my country itself has a huge and interesting history, culture and places. Something we should preserve.

A little bit... I really hate my country sometimes, but if someone talks crap about it I get really patriotistic. From the netherlands by the way
Why do you hate it? It seems amazing.
The goverment, the amount of laws and rules for everything, Amsterdam in general, and the bad stereotypes

Sure. All the great things our ancestors built for me (and other native citizens of course.) Who wouldn't be proud and grateful.

Nah, I don’t consider myself to be patriotic. I think that too much devotion can be bad but too much of anything can be bad
I'm from the United Stated. I'm very patriotic. I'm proud of my country and the soldiers and people that fight for it.
I am American. I do not take pride in my country at all. Every country is shitty in its own special way.
A country is just a land. Over devotion is just creepy you don’t have to go around say how much you love America.
I'm patriotic, but jingoism isn't patriotic, it's pandering. Like Trump, the draft dodger, hugging the flag.
whats jingoism

Depends on your nation, and how you define 'Patriotic'.

I'm from the U. S. and I have a lot of pride in my country.
Not really
Mine for instance
No one should have pride in a country that aims to fuck you over

I'm french by the way.
