Reality check: Anti-semitism was not just in 1940s Germany. It was quote common in Europe and the USA in the first half of the 20th century. The thing is just that after the Holocaust, it more or less became taboo to be anti-semitic (except in the Islamic world). Obviously, the sentiments remained to exist and are flourishing now.
Well, the reasoning generally has to do with various factors.
- Jews being blamed of killing Christ
- Jews being quite successful in financing after they got banned from pretty much all other professions
- Jews have been forced to live in their own neighborhoods, which causes segregation. This yields discrimination and prejudice.
- Jews have also been blamed of both capitalism and communism, both of which are quite hated in many parts of the world
- General debunked bogus about world domination (Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion)
- Supporting Nazis usually leads to anti-semitism
- Israel. People are incapable of applying a slight sense of logic and reason, hence European Jews get beaten up and harassed because Israel exists.

In the UK, at least, this is primarily a problem with the hard left.
I'm not 100% confident about this answer, but I suspect it's because they like to compartmentalise everybody into boxes.
So every minority goes into the 'unsuccessful' box as deserving of support, with the important exception of the Jews, perhaps because the Left see them as successful / integrated / insert generalisation of your choice, and therefore as unworthy of support, and part of 'the problem'?
Just flying a kite here. Perhaps a supporter of Jeremy Corbyn could give us an insider's view?
We live in the 21st century and racism still exists, unfortunately. It can exist against any race or ethnicity, not only Jews.
Jew isn't a race, it is a religion, you can use the terms Israeli or Israelite for that.
I think the main reason of discrimination against them is Israel's policies are shown in the news, or what they see about Israel on social media. (I am not really well informed about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict so I have stated my opinion this way.)
As a Muslim myself I don't have any problems with Jewish and Israeli people, I don't hate people based on their ethnicity or religion, but personality. A Jew can have a great personality while a Muslim can have a horrible one, I would prefer the Jew as my friend.
I hate individuals rather than religious group s or nationalities.
Generally because they are only 1% of the population yet represent the top 1% of the rich. They over represented demographically at college and in high paying CEO jobs. Then there's all the Hollywood celebrities most of whom are Jews talking about diversity and other SJW bullshit when they are over represented 50/1.

Fear, and feeling impotent in their own lives. They don't know how to create a happy financially stable life for themselves and instead of blaming the systems that actually keep a lot of people in poverty, they hear that it's the __________________ (insert race/religion/gender/sexual preference) that are making their lives miserable. They tend to be very poorly educated people, poor readers, and have difficulty with critical thinking.
As has been stated, this is one of the rare cases of a minority that is on average more successful than any other minority of it's size.
I think most people that are labelled as anti-semitic aren't anti-semitic actually. It is often mixed up with anti-zionism and criticizing Israel. However, those things have nothing to do with each other. One thing is being against a government or state, another thing is being against a whole religious group. Because the two things are so often mixed up, some people get easily manipulated into anti-semitism, when their issue is really with Israel. But actually there are many jews too, who criticize Israel.
The Bible: https://biblehub.com/matthew/27-25.htm
And Jews were considered pagans or heathens
And in the Middle Ages , kings owed money to Jews for their army. If they got no spoils of war , they were in debt.
They did not like to pay the Jews back, thus they started pogroms.Exactly! Is the 21st century! I don’t agree with racism I think is equally dangerous and harmful as religion! And in the end that’s what I don’t really agree with when it comes down to Jewish people, their blind belief and attachment to their religion. It has brought their families and their women to a state of ignorance and constant fear (which obviously deprives any human being from living a good life) so is almost a Hitler behavior. Common, how could so many of them believe the internet is the devil? Or that women’s only duty is to have children and raises them and clean their home!
It seems to me to be down to conspiracy theories as much as anything else, such as that the holocaust didn't happen and that Jews run the world. Just the usual crazy bullshit perpetuated by those who don't get out much.
I've never once had any negative feeling towards Jews. I don't always support everything that Israel does but I define those things as the actions of a state, like any other, rather than the actions of Jews as a people.the world will never be completely void of racism. i think, as harsh as this sounds, we have to settle into the un comfortability that is racism. we just need to try and surround ourselves with those who are not racist. that's the best solution we've got
Jew ain't a race also I don't believe in discriminating against anyone for there heritage but I think the reason there is still hostility is because of what some Jews are doing now and what they did in the past kinda like how people can still be hostil twords other goups of people.
I don’t really know. I will say that anti-semitism has a notably dense propaganda base to it. You see people denying that the holocaust happened, grouping all Jews with the malevolent acts of specific people who are Jewish, etc. Its an ugly prejudice, like any really, but it never goes away; just takes different shapes by generation.
Some believe in what Hitler done, not just in regard to the Jewish people but his overall ethos. And there is some merit in a few things he brought about.
Rightly or wrongly, the Jewish people have been seen as parasites in many different societies, especially in Europe, historically.
Then you have the present Israeli/Palestinian problem which is showing the Israelis as no better than the Nazis.Jews have always thought they are so much better than any people-the chosen ones if you will-which is so sad because they are no different than anybody else-they use their"jewism" as a weapon to steer others their way... poor little jews and the ones that are alive have no idea about their people-they again use JEWISM to express their "better than anyone else" doctrines... Jews hAVE no place in America-they are Jews.. go back to your country.. jews get away with murder time and time again... it should make one sick... they are no smarter than anyone else... as a matter of fact jews have a lower IQ than regular people-look at the studies... the truth is hard to take... should make anybody sick... Jews should get the fuck out of America... they are bottom feeders.
I don't know why they worship Hitler, but Jews have a long history that started way before Hitler of being disliked.
Racisim, in general is something that is tought, so children of anti semetic people are usually anti semetic
Cause some people are so brainwashed and stupid. XD Stück in the fucking past.
I'm sorry to hear that... People are dumb sometimes
Neither do I. Most of my best friends from college are Jewish.
They were raised poorly, or they are dumb kids trying to be edgy.
Same reason people are racist against any other type of people
It's [current year], why do people [do something I disagree with]?
Prejudice, bigotry and ignorance. It seems that 80 years Isn’t enough to make People Forget, so it seems
