Why would people donate money to a False Rape accuser to pay for legal expenses?

Freya Heath accused 12 Israeli teenagers of gang rape all because one of them refused to have sex with her. being rejected was so humiliating for her that she decided to accuse the teen and all of his friends (some of whom she had never met) of rape. the boys were detained by police for a couple of days and after the court established that sex between her and a couple of the boys was consensual, they were released. but this time the boys filed a lawsuit against her (which i totally admire). and now she's facing up to a year in prison. after it was found that she lied about being raped she claimed that she reported rape because the guys recorded a video against her will while having sex with her. it seems like she lied about that too. it all boils down to an angry rejected girl who tries to take revenge by sending the teen who rejected her and his friends to prison. But all of this is normal these days. we keep hearing about more and more rape reports that turn out to be false and almost always these women get away with lying in court. in many of these cases the media reveals the identity of the alleged rapist way before the police starts it's investigation but no one talks about who these women are even after the court drops the rape charges and announces that the woman has lied. why should their identity be protected when they have ruined the lives of those men forever? Even crazier than that is seeing that now people have started online campaigns to gather funds for this false rape accuser's legal expenses. But i doubt that anyone was worried about those 12 boys who could have been sent to prison. Why?

This disgusting. I've followed this case a lot and totally believe everything. I've just watched the documentary on it and there's is mountains of clear logical evidence but this girl was gang raped. Half the suspects even admitted to raping her and weren't sentenced.

It so obvious these men were from rich Middle Eastern families where they've been raised that they are God's gift and have never had to suffer the the consequences of their actions because daddy always pays it off for them.

The fact you have shown a picture of this girl and outed her, you should be totally ashamed of yourself whilst you write this anonymously behind your keyboard.

This every girls worse nightmare what happened to this girl and so many of us girls who travel abroad on holiday have had to deal with over aggressive creepy foreign men that are to scared to speak out because of politically correct society we live in and because we know we would only face the same consequences in a country like that as this girl did.

I dont care if she put herself in danger no one should have to go through what she has and men shouldn't ever think there's a excuse for raping someone.

there's even been video evince shown in court of the boys secretly filming her having sex with the guy she originally consented to and then there's videos of the rape as well were she's telling them to get out and fighting them off. there's text messages of them even planing the rape.

Think about it for a second if this was a female you cared about and this had happened to her or even yourself.

So my question is why do so many men act so ignorant towards women at always play the victim when the dont even have the brain capacity to look into real facts?

Unfortunately men that are accused of rape falsely rarely recover their old lives. Men who are falsely accused of rape are often let go from their jobs and removed from their schools before any legal proceedings have ever begun. Many are arrested without cause, and harassed bullied and threatened long after they have been acquitted. In cases like these the victims name cannot be published without their explicit consent, so why don’t the accused get the benefit of the doubt as well? Just because the majority of rape reports are true doesn’t mean the men who are falsely accused deserve to have their name and reputation dragged through the dirt. If they’re convicted then their name should be published for sure. But until they are found guilty in a court of law they’re supposed to be treated as innocent. So why aren’t they afforded the same legal protections as the accuser? Seems like a glaringly obvious problem to me.
