Of course. Some men literally never recover from those types of allegations. I personally think the women should get the exact amount of time the man would’ve got if he was found guilty.

That’s typically around 20 years. Serial rapists can get life without parole easy. I’m not downplaying the severity of it, but I don’t think providing false information is the equivalent to committing an actual violent felony.

I think they should get the same punishment that that the victim of their lies would have had which for rape I think is like around 20 years. Basically reverse uno card.

false rape accusations fall under both categories and therefore should be a crime

This may seem very harsh, but personally, I would have them suffer that very fate. Forget a long incarceration, just a short night (or a few) with "good behavior" inmates running the proverbial train on them. Karmic punishment.

The problem is that the verdict of a court case can be left up to idiot jurors. My friend was unarmed murdered in Montana, shot 6 times in the back and they still found the murderer not guilty.

I don't know about prison, but there should definitely be a punishment. How bout a fine? Our prisons are full enough as is. I feel like prison should be for violent offenders or repeat offenders.

I don’t know about prison. I tend to associate prison with a violent offender, but there definitely should be some legal consequences. Without question. Even if it is just some county jail time.
