That would mean there are 100 different genital variations. But as far as I know there’s only vaginas, penises, having both and the absence of them.

Male, Female, Transgender Male, Transgender Female, Intersex and genderless. I’m talking straight science. Ways you can naturally or unnaturally have or lack genitals. I came up with 6. Your genitals are what determine your gender.

Things like being gender fluid depends on an individual’s “feelings” towards their own identity. But that’s psychological. Gender is biological. When you get into terms like demi and pans, it’s still a person’s feelings towards identity.

Gender isn’t identity and I think part of the reason why these terms keep evolving is because society pressures people to be a certain way based on how they look and when people go against that, they face abuse and get ostracized. So these terms come up to legitimize people for being “people”.

We need to teach children and adults that it’s ok to be different and we need to really understand how important it is to accept eachother. No one should ever feel that they need to alter their biology or any other part of them so that they can survive in a society that attacks you for being different. These terms will keep growing because they’re based on individuality and there’s billions of us. There are basically endless possibilities when it comes to what type of groups can form.

Acceptance is what needs to be taught.

I mean they are a bit pushing it with all the nonsense "different genders".
I think it's good that they separate between sex and gender.
Gender can be more of a social construct and let's be honest a lot of us don't feel like we fit in a very strict category.
We all mix different attributes with certain %.
They just decided to label everything which I think is pointless, because labelling restricts everything all over again.
I rather say people are fluid or have a dominant characteristic that defines them.
I approve of the openness of the topic though at such a young age. I don't think it's confusing at all, personalities start morphing early on. And if any kid feels misplaced or odd, he can at least now accept himself better in case he doesn't fit the general stereotype.

Well I will say there are hermaphordites in the world and also people with fucked up chromosomes who have the appearance and sex organs of the opposite sex that they really are so I can at least admit there might be 4 genders technically, Those 2 are very rare but it does happen I believe the truth which is sex is your gender there are male and female and whatever you call those other 2 kinds of things that do happen somehow. The facts of life, biology, and nature are that there are and can be only two genders, Male and Female. If you're born female, you will die female; if you're born male, you will die male. I had a sex ed lesson with my health class last year, they teach gender and biological sex are not the same and that if people prefer certain pronouns you should be respectful to them and not purposely mislabel them. Thats all they taught on genders, so I don't know where you're getting this "teaching hundreds of genders" but my guess is you're either mistaken or talking about some obscure instance where one teacher said that.

So why should someone else be forced to think the way they do. If for me one person is a female in a biological way I will always think of her being a female. over a 100 genders is definitely too far. i am a supporter of LGBTQ+ but sometimes i do get the feeling that there are a bit too many genders. little kids should be taught of LGBT and such, but genders are for older kids. when i was little, i didn't even know the difference between a boy and a girl. there's definitely three genders biologically, but the rest of the genders are not quite biological. so it's best not to confuse little kids with that, maybe when they're older.

This is too much. I am with a full clear honest sex ed its so important in school. And they should teach kids that gender is more fluid in some people physically and mentally. So sexuality. And provide them with sources to read more about it. But not taking it too far.
