A few years ago he was arrested for planning on schooling up a school. Arrested for stealing as well. Literally every black person the black community defends has a history of rape, violence, stealing and murder. Ahmaud Arbery most likely would have killed someone sooner or later. Well, first of all the offense Ahmaud Arbery did was shop lifting as a teen years ago and has nothing to do why he was unjustly murdered.
Now, for your question at hand. The mainstream media doesn't show or hardly reports black on white crime because there's very ugly history of violence, hatred and bitterness between white people and black people.
If the media were to actively show all the violence and crime done by black people towards whites then that can be easily interpreted by some white people especially how powerful media can be over people, that blacks are out for vengeance against white people for what happened in the bitter past history, thus inciting a potential very ugly race war in the streets.
In that case, the media refrains from hardly showing all black crimes against whites. Is it fair and right? No, but when you are living a multiracial society where one race of people and another different race of people (blacks) who were mistreated, oppressed and see themselves as a constant victim within that society then its best to not show blacks harming whites on any media outlet.

You know, in the weird West Black lives matter and White lives don't. It's quite simple. Modern Westerners have created a "civilisation" where their own lives mean shit, White people are not taught to stand up for themselves, their politicians don't represent their interests as a people and there's a general bias against White people (especially the men) which is the essence of this new social contract. So when minorities do any crime, it must be White people's fault, right?

Speak for yourself. I’ve never been scared of black people. I also have no sympathy for Ahmaud Arbery either. I think he was a dipshit that tried to fist fight a guy wielding a gun. The guy must have been retarded or something. That said I’ve known, worked with, and been friends with a shit ton of black people since I was a little kid. I also had two black guys try to mug me and I beat the shit out of them. I’ve also been in a number of other fist fights with black guys that started shit and needed to get beat down. There are good and bad black people. I think the black community in general has a lot of issues they need to fix because there is a lot of dysfunction going on, but that doesn’t make me fear them or prevent me from seeing the good in generally good people.

What I don't get is why does the race itself has to factor into everything that happens in America. Like these dudes are criminals period. Black, white, purple it doesn't matter why is it so hard to see a criminal objectively and often times they will be protected and justified by people of their own race.

I feel empathy, I also feel anger. The solution isn't to try to play victim and come at this from a position of powerlessness. Nor is the solution to try to appeal to a sense of fairness in the people who don't have a problem with this, when they don't and will never give a shit about you.
