My ex won't accept OR ignore my facebook friend request?

I added my ex on facebook and he won't accept it or ignore it, but he accepted my best friend the day she added him. If he doesn't want me on why won't he just ignore it? And it's not because he doesn't wanna be rude, he wouldn't care.

It's right up there with ignoring a call or a text...it's easier. They don't wanna look like an asshole if they simply reject your request. But either way, it still does.

A lot of people just leave them there because it's like they haven't gotten around to adding their requests yet. It's a more polite way of not adding them.

HAHA it's not like that, I saw his profile and decided yo add him, no harm you no lol, and when he didn't accept or ignore it I was curious.

Ah OK, fair enough I guess. Perhaps he hasn't decided if he wants to add you or not, so has left the request there for when he does decide.
