If good looks are mostly genetic then how come ugly people don't demand equal rights since they're at a disadvantage in society?

Attractive people tend to get the better things in life, good job, partner, and they're usually the life of the party. Have you ever struggled with getting a job because you weren't attractive enough and the other candidate was (even though both of you had the same qualifications)?

Being attractive even allows you to make money off yourself. People tend to treat pretty people better and smile at you. They approach you and you don't come off as creepy when you approach others.

Being attractive is also a sign of good health and that you take good care of yourself. We as humans judge each other based on our appearance even though we claim that we're not shallow.

This guy went on Tinder and acted like a douche to girls, and they fell for it instead of being disgusted. If the guy was ugly, the girls would have called him disgusting or perverted.

Because as the old saying goes look why, attractiveness is subjective. This is how this Kingdom Works down here. It's a system. In truth as somebody who has received mixed reviews I like to call it, it's neither or of what you are describing. And I can prove it.

1. People go to what they call attractive simply because our ancestors has set the standards on what is acceptable and not. That's why we are attracted to the kind of people we are attracted to. It's not because it's just genetically embedded in us. But the fact of what our ancestors did that controls how we choose to sin, and who we choose to sin with. Those who isn't about that overall value physical beauty as a means of compliment and not as if their gods.

2. Many attractive people get favors because people want something from you. I remember growing up having a lot of adults like me simply because I looked it attractive and cute. Meanwhile there were other adults that shamed my parents because supposedly they did not look as attractive as I did according to them. They pick favorites based on favoritism. But once they see the real you, for who you are, then their fantasy of you drop's and they begin to dislike you.

3. People create unrealistic expectations of those who have unique physical appearances. The reason being is because again they want favors out of you. So they invest in you more than they invest in other people. If you refuse to meet the image that they want, then they're not just going to get upset, then they will cut any benefits that you rightfully deserve and work for. If you don't accept the label they want to give you, then you will receive a bad reputation.

4. Attractive people are not just slaves of society, they also Reverend as gods and goddesses in human form. It's a lonely life to love if that is not something you want.

5. Attractuve people work just as hard as everyday people. It's just that more benefits would be offered and it would be your choice to take it or leave it. Similar to Japanese and East Asian cultures, not accepting "gifts" is like rejecting their love. But this however is based off of toxic intent and it's based on conditions. Not what is unconditional.

6. So called ugly people don't have to ask for anything not because they don't ask for the same basic human rights as those more attractive than them. But because they learned to remain humble even if the world is against them. They tend to posses more love and value for human life than those who are treated with royalty services.

7. Attractive people can be just as creepy as unattractive ones. What we are seeing here is social conditioning that is toxic. And not because it's human nature. There were plenty of instances where I have shut down highly attractive people that were interested in dating me, and I received a lot of backlash for it. From both close loved ones and strangers.

8. It's all about character and upbringing.

In reality the world is just a messed up place. If we don't start treating everyone equal by character and standards and not by preferences then we do a huge disservice to those who does deserved as much good treatment. And looks physically shouldn't be a qualifying factor.

Thanks. I also forgot to type up that attractive people are also twice as likely to receive fake people into their life than those who aren't considered less attractive. It doesn't mean that those that are less attractive won't get fake people, but that they're twice as likely to find a genuine person as opposed to an attractive person who was so used to receiving compliments they won't tell the difference.

I mean, there are universal attractiveness standards like clear skin, jawline, symmetrical face, it's also scientific, like there are studies. Like every model of different country looks attractive because we humans have the same idea of what looks attractive, but I guess it can vary, subjectively.

There's not much you can do about it. A lot of those perks are not related to rights and even with hiring discrimination that would be hard to prove. in my opinion the only solution is if we ever get to the point where cosmetic surgery is advanced enough where everyone can be precicely alter every aspect of their appearance like a character creation tool in a video game. Either that or genetic engineering to prevent people from being born ugly in the first. Unless one of those two happens attractive people will always be superior and have advantages over average/ugly people.

Genetic engineering is messed up though. And plastic surgery is just fake-looking. But interesting response.

I don't see how it is more messed up than the way things are now where only certain people are blessed with beauty. With genetic engineering everyone or at least more people than currently could have desirable traits.

I said cosmetic surgery not plastic. Eventially we could 3d print actual bone/tissue from our own stem cells so we wouldn't actually be putting plastic/foreign substances in our bodies in order to modify them

But if everyone is attractive with your solutions, then there would still be a hierarchy of uglies and pretties. I mean, it's subjective really. I think no matter what you do, people will still pick on you.

I am not an attractive person by any means but if i smile at someone they smile back because i kinda have a tender smile there are other things than looks your character is portrayed on your facial behaviors and expressions , good looking people have an advantage in social life yes but its not as serious as you mentioned
