Police aren't stopping them for no reason (the vast, vast majority of the time) - it's because blacks in the US commit more crimes. And once you understand THAT, the fact that they have more interactions with the police doesn't seem very surprising.

That means that Caucasians outnumber Blacks approximately 6:1. If they committed crimes at the same rate, Caucasians would commit 6 times as many crimes as Blacks. Do you understand statistics?

Murder and nonnegligent manslaughter
Take the total number of murders and non-negligent homicides for Caucasians and divide that number by the total Caucasian population, then multiply by 100,000 to get the rate per 100,000

Caucasian = 5,280 / 250,446,756 = 2.1 / 100,000

The same calculation for Blacks:

Black = 6,380 / 45,953,533 = 13.9 / 100,000

So Caucasians commit murders and non-negligent homicides at the rate of 2.1/100,000 and Blacks commit those same crimes at the rate of 13.9/100,000. That is a vast disparity. Here are the same calculations, by race, for several other categories of crimes:

There's some black communities in my area I wouldn't walk around in daylight for fear of being mugged, stabbed or raped, my parents used to live in that area, and broad daylight we had our front window open and they stuck thier head in about to climb in and Rob the place, which never would have happened in a non-black area.

I'm not saying all blacks are bad they're not I've made friends with several in various schools, unis etc I've been in, but I am saying if a minority of population makes majority of crime then it is expected to get called over more, I think the system should be changed yes but the facts are still there

The difference is that the whales and the forests aren't part of the problem. It's a fact that blacks in the US commit a FAR higher rate of crimes than other races (which doesn't mean that other races don't commit crimes - we're just looking at "crimes per 10,000 people of that group"), and thus encounter police far more often. Black culture also teaches that "cops are bad" and that "cops are out to get black people because they're black", which completely ignores the fact that the vast majority of interactions with cops are a result of committing crimes.

If white middle-class soccer moms were committing assaults and murders at triple the rate of everyone else, you'd see them targeted too, and you'd say "well, that makes sense - they're committing crimes." That doesn't mean ALL white middle-class soccer moms were bad, but it means that they stand out enough to be given a second look or a more thorough check, and, yes, that would affect innocent soccer moms too sometimes.

No one is suggesting that racism doesn't exist, or even that it doesn't exist among police - we're saying that it's *relatively* rare and certainly not "systemic" - and CERTAINLY not a problem that in any way justifies riots and destruction and murder. At least 29 people have been killed in the riots in the last 3 months, including police officers and children. That's about triple the number of unarmed black suspects who were killed by police for any reason in 2019. And murders in predominantly black cities that are "defunding" the police have skyrocketed - virtually all of them being black-on-black murders. So I don't see how things are improving.
