Now why?
Well that's very simple.
You decide your gender.
And you either choose to be a male or the other way around.

You see a transgender chose to change her gender to male or female. Still it's one of those.

Now lesbians or gays? Well it's about how you feel and act. But in the end you will feel to be a guy or to be a girl. And we'll just pick the one you feel most alike with.

Female or male. These terms have utility. If we didn’t know the biological sex of a person, we wouldn’t be able to give them the appropriate medical care if needed and same with sports events. It isn’t fair for a transgender to compete in female sports because they still have the biological properties that disadvantage females. Deciding what you are is like playing pretend, but it won’t benefit the person in any way to teach them to live in a delusion. It’s like telling the schizophrenic person, yes those voices you hear are real.

Biologically, there's male, female, and intersex. If you need to know their biological sex, then those should strictly be the only three answers. The only reason you need to know that, though, is if it's for medical purposes. And even then, they should break down the question. For a lot of medical conditions, what differentiates men and women is not (always) what you have between your legs or your chromosomes, it's your dominant hormone. So if a trans woman who has fully transitioned needs medical care, she is much closer to a woman than a man, because she has female genitalia and her body is running on oestrogen, not male hormones like testosterone.

Forms that are not medical should say "gender". I think that the three main ones that we need are male, female, and non-binary. There should also be an "other" box for people who wish to write other answers, like agender or bigender etc.

My honest opinion, and I'll probably get slated by other people, is there should be as many options as is necessary. Now I'm a straight guy and in my life I recognise 2 genders, but who an I to deny someone identifying themselves in anyway they want? If they're not hurting me/hurting any one I'm close to, why should I be bothered about how anyone identifies themselves? If it makes a persons life more comfortable/more easy by identifying themselves outside the normal two genders and at the same time they are not hurting anyone else then more power to them! The sooner we approach conversations with compassion rather than condemnation is the sooner we can move onto our next point of evolution.

This is touch and go situation that will go on for years and we're not supposed to judge one who chooses to be the gender want to be but yet we ask ourselves is this healthy mentally for a person to change their sex gender, I have filled out surveys that take me to the extent that I am a White Male but they still want to know If I'm Hispanic so see that doesn't make sense either and as years go by I can guarantee anyone within 4-10 years there will be Restrooms in public that you go in these stalls and there will be no gender advertised going in them but how safe are these Restrooms so this all makes me wonder I know it's mixed up situation but it makes me wonder for sure will anyone feel safe to use these Restrooms?

If we are truly going based off biology then there should at least be three genders.
In terms of chromosomes and karyotypes even. hermaphrodites aren't either male or female they have both sex organisms and can be born with either. Yeah it's rare but it exists.

Well it say's Sex. So 2 does cover it. But if it said gender then that would be Non-binary added.
But even then us Non-binary can just pick are sex we are just to not actually confuse people and it is true that are sex is what we still are and not really changing it. Genders are necessary for searches to find the ratio between them Companies us this for research purposes for Marketing Sales Health Dating etc There are so many types or categories for genders these days But only the birth gender or those who have gender operations are declared

Forms are easy to make. Adding two options is easy and makes your form more accurate by allowing people to select what they feel most comfortable with, or elect not to give you the information entirely.
