So, a few days ago, Vogue release it's December edition and Harry Styles from the former band One Direction was on the cover wearing a dress. Harry Styles was quoted as saying "I find myself looking at women’s clothes, thinking they’re amazing." What is your opinion on what a man should wear? Ladies, how would you react if your boyfriend/ husband walked out wearing your dress? Gentlemen, would you wear a dress? What is the appropriate attire that men should wear? Is Harry Styles redefining what it means to be a man and masculine?

Ugh... No. Nobody is "redefining" what it means to be a man. I don't know why but I find that statement so annoying. Probably because it's just mid-wit bullshit.

Anything weird and people will speak about how that person is redefining beauty, femininity, masculinity etc. "Why this woman with a beard is redefining female standards of beauty". No. Not to be mean but that's just a woman with a hormonal disorder, women aren't suddenly gonna start growing beards and men are never going to find it attractive.

The same goes here. Men aren't gonna start wearing dresses, and women aren't gonna be attracted to men in dresses. A lot of libtard women are talking about how hot he is or men who "embrace their femininity" are, and I can guarantee that 99.9% of them would not date such a guy at all. They wouldn't respect such a man at all. They're talking out of their asses.

As @Ally247 mentioned he's getting this kind of (mostly bullshit) admiration because he's Harry Styles, a famous and successful pop singer. The average man would be laughed at if he dresses so ridiculously. The guy is just pandering to the woke brigade anyway too.

I love Harry Styles but he's not a trailblazer, many others have done this before him. Price and David Bowie did it, Little Richard before them.
I don't think it's redefining what it means to be masculine but I think it's shows men that it's okay to be feminine... if they want to be.

Well strictly speaking dresses and other "female wear" is the culmination of all human achievement up to this point. I would be disappointed in us if in the year 2020 we did NOT exclusively wear clothes that were amazing.

The fact that there are entire styles of clothes I am socially not able to wear because of my gender is a strange concept to me. The idea that women should wear dresses because dresses looks good but men are not allowed to wear clothes that "look good" is weeeeeird. It is not normal and the world would probably be a better place if both men and women could wear whatever damn clothes they wanted to. Personally I still prefer pants with pockets but that is just my personal taste.

To be fair, I barely know who Harry Styles is and I’m almost positive I’ve never even heard his music. So I don’t know what his whole vibe is about. But he wouldn’t be the first, I think I heard Robert Smith from The Cure used to wear dresses to school sometimes as a teenager... but he was a weird vibe dude to start with, that was no shock to hear. I think Young Thug even went the dress route fairly recently... and I’m just saying I haven’t heard much from Young Thug since then, haha, I’m not sure it’s great for your brand. But I don’t think dudes even like Harry Styles, isn’t he more of a female-fan-oriented guy? Like he’s a boy band kid, right?
