I mean, we get a lot of crazy folks here. A lot of self-hating "Black" men. You can refer to my "take" on this. I was confronted by several of them. It is weird, I have always dated outside of the community. But I never stopped dating "Black" women. I married my first girlfriend. . . a "Black" woman. We divorced, then I dated Asian, "White", German, Slavic, French, African-American, Jamaican, and Arab women.

And thing is, I can see how a "Black" man might get to a point where he does not like African-American Culture and refuses to date African-American women. Because that is an analysis of culture. He is denoting certain behaviors, beliefs, music, speech, etc., that he does not like.

But to project that onto other dark-skinned women is insane. If you disliked African-American women, why would you have issues with dating Jamaican women, Nigerian women, Dominican women, etc?

It makes complete nonsense. And men who do this are just lying to themselves. Because it is about raciology. It is not about something real.

In my opinion, I think that people that down talk their own race do suffer from some form of internalized racism and self hate. He writes about all of the inner conflicts that black people in the west feel and the need for recognition and approval, and the way that some end up hating or being ashamed of the blackness in their identity and past.

My point is that race is not the only thing that defines a person's experience. Black people have higher levels of melanin in their skin, which is why it's darker. This also means that they require a lower level of sunscreen protection to keep from burning. That's the only universal difference that skin color brings to their lives.

A black man is a person, first and foremost. To assume that hatred women of his race is to assume that being "black" is the primary thing that defines him. It isn't. The same is true of any race; being black is not different in this regard.

And black people really aren’t defined by the content of melanin on their skin. A large majority of people that have albinism are of black decent.
